We just got handed a scoop for some important news with one of the next-generation consoles. We can't talk about any specifics yet, but you have our word that this announcement is something worth waiting for. Expect all the info tonight here at Joystiq at 12:01 a.m. Eastern.

PS3 (great news): Playstation have decided to leave blu-ray until PS4 and go ahead with a backup plan they had involving HD-DVD.
Xbox360 (boring news): Microsoft have announced that suchandsuchaperson who worked for agamewhichisanxboxexclusive have resigned.
Wii (???): ???
Sqaure&Konami (Holy Masterful): They are releasing FF13 and MGS4 on the xbox360 aswell :D

However, the post says it is about one of the next gen consoles. THat makes me assume it is about the PS3, the WII or the 360.

the wii technical specs have been increased 10x making it the most powerful console in history, it will be free and come packaged with a cupon redeemable for the entire nintendo game catalog.

You don't need to be a Kreskin to predict the future of Sony's PS3. The hand writing is on the wall: the PS3 faces a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for the PS3 because the PS3 is dying. Things are looking very bad for the PS3. As many of us are already aware, Sony's PS3 continues to lose market share. Red ink flows like a river of blood. Sony's PS3 is the most endangered of them all.

I've been a Sony Fanboy since I got my PS2, and for the first time, I am ashamed to say it.
Delays...a whopper of a price...limited dev support...big loading times...and now, more delays.
