As stated above, Britain has the ITV network. Can Apple actually use this name? They already had a run-in with Apple Records, and that name actually had an extra part to differentiate it. All iTV has is lowercase.

Of course they're running out of iNames as it is. What's left? iBox? iVid?

Apple's i branding is distinctive, but it does limit them in some respects.

I suggested the gaming settop box immediately after hearing the announcement. If iTV has all the hardware a Mac Mini or an iPod has, then it can do casual web games no problem.
