You know what control method I would like to see implemented in this title? Choking.

If an enemy gets close and you don't have a weapon equipped, you could quickly bring the two controllers toward each other to activate the choke and then shake them violently for even more fun.

That would be great.

We'll see, should be interseting. The producer from RE4 is supposed to be this project

Of course, choking would only work on the living-and-not-yet-infected. Any zombies or Plagas infected humans will just laugh in you face before ripping your still-beating heart out of your chest.

I'll be interested to hear about this title as well as RE5 for the other consoles. Oh, and cringer, I really like the choking idea! :)

Crystal Chronicles comes to mind. I hope it won't be a half-assed experimental game, like CC.

Well, I'm assuming there would be *less* Zombie slaying in this iteration, since the outbreak hasn't occurred. I would think you're going to have to try and thwart Umbrella's plans (unsuccessfully, of course). I guess we'll have to see.

After reading through some of the rumors posted here and in other places, I must say I'm impressed at how close some of them are to the truth. I'm currently on my way to New York for Nintendo's conference, but now is a perfect time to shed a little light on the information you will have by the end of the week.

Many people have been letdown by Nintendo's previous conferences. Hopes were high, only to be brought down hard by the lack of information. The same won't be said of these conferences. This week, and for the rest of the month in fact, gamers will finally see the entire next gen picture Nintendo has in store.

I'll save some of the more...angelic revalations of the conferences unspoiled, but offering up a little insight on other issues certainly won't hurt:

Budget Bundle:

Wii system, one Wii remote w/nunchuck attatchment=$179.99

Family Bundle:

Wii system, two Wii remotes w/nunchuck attatchments, one Virtual Console download credit, Wii Sports pack in=$229.99

-Launch Date: November 5th
-Metroid Prime 3 delayed (Feb 2007)
-Wii DJ announced (iTunes supported)
-nSpace FPS announced
-Wii Smimming included in Wii Sports
-Harry Potter Wii exclusive launch title (EA)

Rubius, how the hell did you get that information?

No, really, where did you get that?

Uhh, it said events leading up to RE4, not RE1.

I work in the industry. The information has been in stone for awhile now, and I wouldn't suprised if many of the popular gaming networks already know the news as well.

Rubius, are you sure about the iTunes support? Does that imply a Nintendo/Apple friendship?

Whoops...thank bm. Reading comprehension has always been a weak point for me :)

Well, maybe if shook a Zombie's neck hard enough his head would pop off.

I'm guessing you play a character working for Umbrealla. Maybe Wesker or Hunk. We'd have more insight to the other or earlier experiments, and maybe what went wrong. Can you imagine the RE4 view and using your WiiMote?! Can't wait!!!

There will be no actual "Nintendo/Apple" full partnership; it's just for this particular game, or "non game" if you will. You will be able to transfer iTunes songs to and from the Wii, and play around with them using the DJ aspects of the game.

blah, I just hope it isn't some RE: Gun Survivor nonsense. If it's going to be a "prequel" of sorts, then give me a modified control scheme based on RE4. I wanted Leon to be able to peek around corners and such. I'm not too excited right now though. I guess if I could see some screens and get some solid info then that may change. Wifi support would be nice too. Let's just hope Capcom doesn't blow it.
