I seriously doubt that that is really "jack thompson." Noting that his name is not capatilized, something I would imagine the real Thompson would catch.

Jack Thompson your work, which I see and aprreciate your efforts, are misdirected. There are so many other things that cause violent behavior. I find books can be way more hypnotizing, if you will. Also they are easier to get. You can get them for free at your local library. There are no libraries for video games.

(agreeing with #8) yes, luckily the Toronto Sun is pretty much just a tabloid and no one actually takes it seriously

(I'm from a city near Toronto...so I know)

Don't you think that he would be inspired by the actual killings, and not a videogame based on them?

WTB 1x[common sense] as a gift to JT pst with offer.

So uh.. yea riddle me this, millions of gamers in the world and only less than handful shoot up schools. if video games are the source why aren't the rest of those millions shooting up the schools too? Since you know who says video games make us savage killing machines. Maybe in some fantasy world that rule applies.. but this is reality so yea i'd say theres nothing about video games to blame.
Now heres a few things to blame...

1) bad parenting (which wont happen because we all know adults are angels.. um yea whatever)

2) bullying (not really a problem.. but if you're gonna be a crotch stain about it and let people bully you around you already fail at life)

3) goth kids! (joke.. but yea someone did say when a shooting happens its usually a goth kid shooting people)

4) the fact the kid was probably messed up in the head (usually caused from either 1-3 or all of them. or the kid is just plain wacky in the head to begin with)

Thats all I got for now. by the way isn't the Toronto Sun the same retard paper that spun a huge web of crap around the joyriding crash because they found a video game in the car? If so then thats one paper i wouldn't trust for info.

*goes back under my bridge and makes s'mores*

IMPORTANT: Here's something that all the news source missed, the columbine game was ONE of his favorites. His list as viewable at watercoolergames.org had a whole bunch of games listed with: Postal Blood F.E.A.R. Manhunt... The columbine game was in the middle. Yet all the news pp claim columbine game was his favorite just for headlines.
