Why don't you guys ever list Penny Arcade anymore? Is it because they make fun of you?

Hey, you guys list a comic as "Superjerk Returns". The comics REAL name is "Cyanide and Happiness". Superjerk Returns is a flash video the artists made.

Where's the "They all suck" option?

The only thing that made me laugh was when I misread and thought that start/select's line that said "again, no" said "asian, no"

Well, vgcats didnt do a gaming comic this week, so thats not understandable that its not here this week.

But what about fanboys-online.com? or press start to play? they both had comics that blew these ones away. Are you guys excluding the better comics for some reason?

try to remember these guys next week. and i dont think penny arcade was excluded because of what they said. They made fun of vladamir whats-his-face, not joystiq or the guy that does the wrapup.

Well congrats GameBoi on being one of only two (the other being Dueling Analogs for the art alone) remotely funny comics up there.

And why do some people think they can draw when they quite obviously can't, inflicting terrible pain in the process?

Guys, the introduction clearly states that this was reader's choice. No one suggested PA, CAD, PSTP, Hooked on Polygons, VG Cats this week. Reading everyone's thoughts, I am inclined to create a second poll in a minute in order to satiate everyone, but if you really are confused as to why PA is not there ... it simply wasn't submitted to us via tips or comments on any webcomic post.

Believe me, I have no personal grudge against PA, those dudes are awesome and "retard rodeo" has become a part of my vernacular. I'm not defending Vlad or his post in the slightest (I'd rather not, that's his deal).

PA just wasn't suggested by the readers. As such, and being that we got more than enough reader submissions to stand on their own, it seemed like a good time to give the lesser-known comics, who have been showed to us by you guys (and gals, to be PC), a chance to shine.

Does anyone have anything nice to say ever these days? I guess its not enough that these people work hard to make these free comics on a weekly basis? They can't always be fantasticly funny, hell, most of this weeks comics are relatively new starters still learning the craft and trying to follow in the footsteps of their comic creating idols. If I didnt know some people actually did enjoy our comics I would have probably given up on this hobby a long time ago.

I get the impression that there are some people who anxiously await the weekly poll simply so they can vote for "None of the above" and add a comment about how much everything sucks.

I feel as if any comic that mentions fanboys is automatically voted more than anything else. How is this comic in the lead? Oh I get it the guy who's not a diehard fan of a system and has a girlfriend, he's the fanboy. Don't get me wrong nothing against this specific comic I just feel like whichever comics mention fanboys is an automatic winner. I thought the Super Hyper Cooking Mama 2 Turbo, while not amazing, was still better than the rest.

I have no idea how that stupid Superjerk comic is winning. its total crap. i guess i am the only one who thought that the rpg-tv comic was the best. probably just because my friends always makes jokes like that. but still theses comics are mostly crap. can from now on joystiq not post these awful comics that are made by kids who barely know how to draw.

Penny Arcade had an awesome comic this week. "It wasn't submitted by readers" is kind of an iffy excuse when PA is the runaway webcomic leader.

The winning comics name is Cyanide and Happiness, not superjerk returns, thats something altogether different, made by the same people. Oh, my bad...just seen Punkuhr's post.

I for one think it's good that Joystiq had different web comics in the list then and again. I mean is it really an enjoyable feature if Penny Arcade is in the poll every week and wins it? (note that my appreciation for different comics has nothing to do with the fact that my comic was chosen). :)

Some says its like CAD, some say its completly different. They says its mainly because of the art. So I do have a few changes coming in that department.

eh these were alright, im surprised i've never seen the noob comic on here before www.thenoobcomic.com or the order of the stick.
You've got to start at the beginning and and get a taste for it like any comic, but its my personal favorite out of all the pennyarcade/cad and what not at the moment.
