Forget Barbie, we'll take the Samus statue

When we saw First4Figures first Metroid statue, we wondered "where's Samus?" As it turns out, she was coming all along. Though it's not shipping yet, they've released the statue's likely to be final appearance, in both Varia and Gravity suit varieties. Also coming are Samus' Light, Dark, and Phazon suits. The $99 11" tall statue will be available later Q4 2006, which is more than we can say for the recently dated Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Nice! I've always wanted a Samus model but they were always a little too wiggly and bumpy for the price.
I may pick one of these up. I'm a big Metroid fan.

And once again there's no love for the the basic Power Suit. Wasn't in Prime 2, never shows up in art, and now it's getting the short end on statues too.
I hope when they say the series isn't limited to the 5 named models, that means they have plans for the one and only base model too. Seriously, the light suit before the core model?
Am I the only person on Earth that actually likes the look of the original better than the upgrades?

If you actually look at it, the "Varia" suit IS the basic Power Suit. The Varia suit is Pink/Red!
