The Global Islamic Media Front, which has been described as a "jihadist mouthpiece," recently released Night of Bush Capturing, which is, ironically, a mod of Petrilla Entertainment's crass budget-FPS, Quest for Saddam. The game, which according to an advertisement is being distributed for "terrorist children," features six stages, with images of Bush, Tony Blair, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, and Hassan Nasrallah (Hezbollah's leader) pasted on the walls of a generic U.S. military camp. War nasheeds can be heard playing in the background as the player progresses to a final showdown with U.S. President George W. Bush.
While we don't anticipate the threat level being raised because of this release, or for that matter, Night of Bush Capturing becoming budding terrorist's "Halo," this mod is an interesting example on how a 'weapon' can be turned against its creator -- in this case, off-color Iraq war game becomes "Bush Hunter." All's fair in love and war, right?

Actually diskoboy, if you criticize Islam, you better go into hiding for the rest of your life because the growing radical elements of the religion will come and cut your head off. Literally.
If you want to criticize someone without repurcussions, then go after the world's #1 target: white upper middle class Republican Christian males.

Seriously, try and say something bad about muslims, or muslims in general. Zoe K will bite your head off.
Now say just about anything bad about rich white christians, and see the kind of laugh fest that follows with comments of "yeah totally!" and "Christians are such hypocrits!"
Say the same thing about muslims, I dare you.

Also, what Christians are coming out openly against the policies of the religious right in our country? I see very few. A few Methodists, a few Catholic organizations, but other than that very few.

No crono141, I'm sorry. I'm not playing your game today. I felt I should let you know this. There's hate the world over. You're just another face in the pathetic, disgusting crowd.

If I could do the jokes from South Park where they made fun of him I would. I'm not part of a country that beheads it's POWs or puts their women in a hole up to their neck then stone them to death. So STFU before you try to tell me to be funny. Who said I was being funny I was more insulting them rather then being funny. Go suck Hilley's left boob and leave me alone.

Actually, you proved both points, due to your criticism of Scythe posting one of the cartoons that started RIOTS across half the world.
Because aparently, having a sense of humor and turning the other cheek have no place in islam.

Radical muslim extremists who protest the Pope's speech by firebombing a church are frickin hypocrits!
(waits...) hmm...nothing.
Well off white Republican Christians who think they are the world's #1 persecuted demographic are frickin hypocrits!
Christians that think Islam is the only religion that can be manipulated towards violence and extremism or for political purposes are frickin hypocrits!
Yeah. I'll stand by all those statements.
Know any muslims personally? Didn't think so.

s....t....f.....u.
No...let me spell that out for you...
SHUT THE FUCK UP!
I don't understand the need for some in Islam to MURDER anyone that leaves the religion, draws a picture of Muhammed (who isn't even a diety in the religion). I don't understand the chants of "Death to any country that offense us!!.......and Israel and America too for good measure."
But I DO understand that it is a VAST minority of extremists that don't understand their own religion that do it!!
You REALLY think Christians have a monopoly of criticizing other spiritual ideas?
You HONESTLY believe ALL christians behave in the way you just pigeon holed them all?
I wish you were a female in a muslim country so you would not be aloud to speak in public again.

You'd be amazed just how many individuals from different faiths refuse to intermingle with individuals from different ones. I'm personally one of the most hated of any possible faith bases. I don't believe any writings of any faith are divine in any way, they're self-help books, and I do believe in such a higher power. As such, atheists aren't interested and I've pretty much gotten on the bad side of every known religion that uses any kind of scripture as a basic truth.
The only reason Christianity seems to be the huge killer is two fold. One, most of us are in nations that are Christian majority (I say Christian as a lumped term holding all the various denominations, even though apparently some people consider Christianity a whole different beast than Catholicism et al) and also very open societies that have sensationalist medias. This makes the crazies more apparent, and since there are a lot more Christians than any other group, it makes it appear that Christians in general are a bunch of whackos.
Take a general cross-section of every faith, and you'll find the same percentage of fools in each of them. Christianity gets the extra brunt because their antics are seen on television more often.
As for the game, couldn't they have come up with a better name? Night of Bush Capturing sounds like a porn movie or a really corny movie involving lawn care professionals who battle mutant shrubbery.

Yes I do know some muslims. One of my favorite professors in college is a muslim.
Also, I never said Christianity is most persecuted. I think that belongs to Judaism, since just about everybody hates jews.
And Zoe, I have not said anything hateful in this post, yet you insist on calling me, someone you've never met, never spoken to personally, and basically don't know at all, a racist and a bigot.
You are the bigot here, because you take one post out of context, and totally miss the point in another thread.
Too bad, too. Based on what else I've read from you (and your myspace site) you seem like you could be pretty cool if you weren't so rabid about calling people who disagree with you racist bigots.

If you quit responding to idiocy, idiocy has no one to bother and it goes somewhere else. We're not going to change how these morons think, and the longer we go on, the more Joystiq's posters know that the Islamic posts get them comments.
Leave these morons to their own devices and they'll have no one left to talk to.

And I get accused of hate speech...
Thats right, we were responsible, for both Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden. We thought, at the time, that communism was the worst EVIL in the world, and ANYTHING would be better than that.
Now we know we are wrong. And now we're back, in afganistan and iraq, cleaning up the mess we made ourselves.
What would you have us do, leave them to their own devices? To continue to plot against freedom itself?
If you believe us to be responsible for this problem, then you should also believe it is our responsibility to fix it.

The fact is that we need to stop being so heavy handed with our foreign policies. We cannot force our will upon a whole world. We can't run the world economy like we run our own. The WTO, NAFTA, and all similar trade associations headed by large European and American conglomerates. They are sovereign nations not nation states.

I do dislike hate, though, ironically enough. And you've said things in the past, while not necessarily blatantly hateful themselves, they were full of sweeping generalizations of a whole sect of people. And that, I'm sorry to say, leads to hate.
I didn't single you out in this post... you singled me out. I'm sure you're a cool person aside from these issues, but this is all I know you for -- commenting when the chance to be distasteful arises.
And Jose, you should calm down a bit.

And I will admit that my initial post in that "other" thread was full of generalizations (self admittedly so), and then I spent the entire rest of it trying to dig myself out of that hole.
So here it is:
I do not hate other people. Though I may disagree with certain lifestyles, hate never enters into it. Peace and harmony really is the way to go.
Sometimes, though, thats not what the deck deals us.
