Microsoft announced today via press release that their Platinum Hits line will grace the Xbox 360 starting October 15. The first wave of titles include Perfect Dark Zero, Project Gotham Racing 3, Kameo: Elements of Power, and Need for Speed Most Wanted, and come at a cost of $29.99. Get 'em while they're cheap.In the past, select Platinum Hit games for the original Xbox had to sell over 400,000 units in nine months after initial release, so we assume the same logic is used for Xbox 360 titles. The second wave of Platinum Hits is expected in spring 2007 with titles varying by region.
