That looked much better than I was expecting. These 360 RPGs will definitely contend with any that the PS3 throws at em.

I have to admit it up front—before today, I didn't even know this game existed, let alone any details. I was listening to Major Nelson's recording of the conference today, and when this trailer came in, I was intrigued simply due to the voicework and music. After getting a chance to see the trailer, I am blown away, and will be keeping a close eye on this one. Here's hoping that when (if?) it makes the journey stateside, they leave in the option for Japanese voices, because that's the first thing that caught my attention. Outstanding graphics/character designs, a top-notch musical score from Motoi Sakuraba (Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Symphonia), and a very fun-looking combat engine.

For the anime geeks out there (yes, I admit to being one), a list of the cast information from the trailer:
Polka - Aya Hirano (Haruhi Suzumiya, "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya")
Chopin - Mitsuaki Madono (Maron Glasse, "Sorcerer Hunters")
Allegretto - Hiro Shimono (Ayato, "RahXephon")
Beat - Yumiko Kobayashi (Poemi, "Puni Puni Poemy")

"Yumiko Kobayashi was also Excel in Excel Saga."

Yes and no. The main character in Excel Saga, Excel Excel, was played by Kotono Mitsuishi. However, there was a character named Excel Kobayashi who showed up in a handul of episodes. This Excel was voiced by Yumiko.

Never in my life would i think i would make a comment on this blog.

Wow. That looked like Dark Cloud x all the number of ps2s that Saddam supposedly bought x the goodness of the X + Grandia + GF who is Japanese = Finally an RPG that looks as intriguing as Skies of Arcadia.

I'm so excited right now, this looks so cool. And the music makes it so EMO.
