I'd rather just have a price drop. A Core can be had for cheap anywhere but I of course want the Premium package. I care naught for a car game, so my money's on Wii... Maybe if it came with a good game instead.

People dismissing PGR3 as just a "car" game saddens me.

I don't really don't like racing games. I'm trying to think how many I've had that aren't PGR related and all I can think of is a copy of Need for Speed I bought when I was 10 on the PC and the F-Zero games for the SNES and N64.

I freakin' LOVE PGR. It's like... Max Payne, with no bullet time for cars, but you don't need bullet time because the game has a nice skill progression so you can learn how to handle the turns and passing.

#3, just because you like PGR doesn't mean other people will too.

I like PGR as well, but I'm just making a point here.

I'd buy it... if Microsoft actally cared about their home country and released it here. =/ Seriously, where's America's bundle/price drop?

The 360 is probably doing so well over here, and coupled with the fact that PS3 is kind of vaporware, MS probably thinks we don't need a price drop/bundle.

I bought my Xbox 360 at Costco; it came with the full system, two wireless controllers, a play and charge kit, and PGR3 for $475. And while I wasn't enthused about getting PGR3 packed in, I can now say it's a hell of a game. Honestly, you'll like it even if you don't like racing games all that much. It's really a lot of fun just to cruise around in.

this is a very good deal in my opinion PGR3 is a great game to how off your new system and everyone ends up- buying 2 controllers!

I can't say that I've ever come across a video game or movie bundle that was a benefit to me. It's always, "get this thing that you want and this thing that you would never buy, at a price slightly more than you would have paid for the thing you want, if sold alone." Sorry, pass. I do not want a copy of Batman Forever with my copy of Batman Begins.

Oh come on, it's a brilliant pack for a great price. I already own the console and the game but would definitely have been interested in this pack had I been looking to pick one up now.

And PGR feels great to play, it's not just pretty to look at. Online is a blast and I think most people loose sight of just what the technology is providing us these days.

Seems good value on the surface. However, PGR3 has just been announced as one of its first range of "classic" titles in the USA. Now we know why it's not on the UK classic list.

@#7: Costco bundles FTW!! That's how I got my 360, as well. Can't really beat it, you get a PREMIUM system, an extra wireless controller, a play and charge kit, and a game (which is kind of a necessity if you're buying a console), as he said, for USD475.00. Price if purchased separately: USD520.00. Mine came with Kameo (fun and underrated game) rather than PGR3, but I wanted it more, anyway. I'm REALLY not a fan of the overpriced "get-stuff-you-don't-want" bundles, but I generally find that Costco has really good ones for a good bit less than retail. I'll likely get my Wii in a Costco bundle, as well. And, no, I don't work for Costco.

#8 - I can think of several Nintendo bundles that were advantangeous:

DS Lite + Brain Age ($130)
Gamecube + extra controller + Mario Kart: DD ($100)
SNES + Super Mario World + Mario Paint ($?)

The Genesis plus Vectorman wasn't bad either.
