If Kotaku is to be believed, a member of the Loco Roco development team was overheard at TGS saying:"We'd love to have made a DS version. We're just gamers. But, we work for Sony."
Makes sense, considering how cute these critters are. More likely than not though, a Nintendo fanboy simply created this story to get people riled up.
