Nintendo Fusion Tour begins, no one listens to the music

Bah! It's tomorrow and I've already forgotten. Alot of that post didn't seem to be good news, but I'm pretty hyped about it.

Hmm, that tour should come to Europe also... I wanna test Wii! ^^

Oh yea, and theres some music there too.

That blue glowing light didnt look that great I would rather mod my wii and change the color :)

I sure hope the blue light is on the final unit; hasn't it been the visual focus of a lot of the advertisements?

Actually, if you read the whole page, the author says that when the game first starts, the light turns on and then fades away. Trust me, videophiles would be *angry* if they had a bright blue LED light near their TV shining all the time. It either turns off automatically after game insertion, or whether it stays on or off is configurable.

So the blue light is there and it works, it just turned itself off automatically. I hope you can configure it to stay on. :)

Blue LEDs are awfully bright, I'd be pretty annoyed if I had to leave the Wii on all night, with that blue LED lighting up my entire bedroom.

If it fades out, that would be cool.

Mayvbe they should have went with NON-Christian bands and people would have listened to the music....
I know they want it family friendly, but why brainwash kids with hypocritical music?

If you would, knock ReliantK for having shitty music, not for being a Christian band.

And to be accurate, Hawthorne Heights, also mentioned, is far from a Christian band.

To be fair, it'd be nice if companies like Nintendo that throw events like these can find a well-rounded band that would be family friendly without singing about drugs, alcohol, over-indulgence in violence and sex.

Unfortunately, as an ex-event planner myself, these bands rarely exist. It seems only the Christian bands can fill the gap.

Elric, Relient K has a ton of music that is not Christian in nature. I'd say its about 50/50. I'll be sure to let you know which songs they play, when I attend the Tour when it gets to Atlanta on Oct 13

Yeah I wish they would have gotten some real bands this year. I hate that emo trash.

Who cares about a blue light...?

"So why did you buy the Wii? The blue light of course. Why do you ask?"

Excitetruck looks super-extra awesome and so does Wii Sports.

Too the author couldn't have gotten a hands-on with Zelda or Metroid.

She/he whatever sounds more honest than say.. IGN or 1up.com when it came to assesing the Wii and it's games.

I'm hoping for a hybrid of console gaming and arcade when the Wii comes out and so far it seems to fulfill that with most of the games.

My only complaint is that games made for normal control-style games *coughMETROIDcoughcoughZELDAcough* (Whew bad cough) will suck completely. Which is why I think that instead of milking the same cow over and over they should just find a new cow completely (Mario and the other Zelda in development Wii for instance).

And Metroid Prime 3 looks (sadly) like a hard to play festival of crap.

I was at the Columbus Fusion Tour, and it was amazing. Playing Metroid Prime... it really did make me cry. The Wii is going to dominate the homes soon. Just wait for it...

Oh and Relient K played NO religious songs, NOR did they say anything about Jesus/God. So please don't bash "Christian Bands" because they know when there's a place for that type of music, and when there's not.

Relient K was amazing live, minus the 14 year old girls.
