While over in Japan, the obsession with Nintendo's dual-screened platform is well documented, the latest news affecting DS fans is focused on Europe. Apparently Europeans are going to feel a pinch as shortages of plastic cases means that DS games will be sold in the cardboard cases GBA games are sold in. These cases will come complete with apology from Nintendo and an invitation to order a plastic replacement case when stock is replenished in December. This news comes from Nintendo of Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg), and these shortages are said to not affect other territories such as Japan and North America, as materials used in case manufacturing in those territories differ.
