The prodigal webcomic wrapup returns

There have been some notable standouts that we couldn't categorize. Fanboys nailed an Ocarina of Time / Dance Dance Revolution joke and Press Start to Play took a more self-referential route. Not normally game-related, xkcd and Questionable Content showed their nerd side in more subtle ways.
For the other comics this week, nearly every joke had a counterpart somewhere on the internet channels, so we're pairing the comics up into teams of two. Tell us, what webcomic duo nailed their respective punch line?

Dead Rising is the gag that never dies because the game is awesome. I really don't get all those people who get hung up on the save system. I think it adds a lot of value and makes planning how you're going to go about your game that much more interesting. Also, just recently discovered the awesomeness of the shower head.

I never tire of Penny Arcade, even after 5 or so years. The Dead Rising/Pokemon one was great too.

I like the format for this week's webcomic wrapup. Keep with it Joystiq!
Also has no one voted for None of the Above yet? Because all of the percents add up to 101%, and that doesn't even show a None of the Above choice.
burnt_secondary @ Sep 30th 2006 3:19PM
Please go back to the old format, this was just way too jumbled to even vote on.
(Which one did I like again? Wait! I liked that one a lot but it's teamed up with one that sucks. Hang on, is this a butterfly ballot? Oh screw it . . . none of the above.)
burnt_secondary @ Sep 30th 2006 3:21PM
Oh, none of the above doesn't work
LaughingTarget @ Sep 30th 2006 3:30PM
Doh! Fanboys pulled a Dan Quail on the Kutaragi one. "Potatoe" Hehehe.
trekkie4christ @ Sep 30th 2006 3:30PM
The "None of the Above" "option" was a nice touch. I must say that I preferred the OOT/DDR strip more than all of those duos.
Brendon @ Sep 30th 2006 3:51PM
I just want to vote none of the above! I just wanna!
Let me show my frustration towards webcomics. :'( _

Etheo @ Sep 30th 2006 8:04PM
Nice try with the none of the above button, but I've got my firefox skin! And no I'm not going to vote because my choice is not an option.

Speaking of DDR, you gotta include this masterpiece from Alien Loves Predator in next week's Wrapup:

Men the best comic on this past two weeks was Questionable content... that use of the RPG options was illarious, and can be used in a lot of ways and occasions.
