Fish Tycoon? Couldn't they have come up with any more plausible [noun] + Tycoon game? As if the Tycoon games weren't a big enough joke already.
nothing dude @ Oct 2nd 2006 12:53PM
they forgot halo 3.
nalgae @ Oct 2nd 2006 12:53PM

You can get my copy of "NRA gun club"... if you can pry it from my cold, dead hands.
"People kill people" FTW!

@6 Yea no they are all the games released so far have been wii and ps3. Get a life games that look better take longer to produce so expect wait time between all the next gen console games. Not like the 30 games a month crapfest that the ps2 has which almost none of them are good.

Um ... where is Scarface: The World is Yours? I'm looking foward to this movie tie-in licensed sequel in game form to tide over my sandbox open roam fix until next year when GTA4 hits.

I'm eagerly awating the DS and 360 Star Trek games. Unfortunately, neither is coming out this week.
I saw this article on TeamXbox:
http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/11916/Bethesda-Announces-Ship-Dates-for-STAR-TREK-Titles/
"Bethesda Softworks announced today that the first title in their STAR TREK lineup, STAR TREK: Encounters for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, will ship to North American retail stores this week. The release of Encounters will be followed by STAR TREK: Tactical Assault, shipping on October 24th, for both the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system and the Nintendo DS. STAR TREK: Legacy is scheduled to be released on November 7th for the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows."
There are more details in the link. Regardless, it looks like only the PS2 game (which I've heard absolutely *nothing* about) comes out this week.
Looks like I gotta wait a bit longer for my nerdy Trek lovin'...

Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Daniel @ Oct 2nd 2006 2:30PM
Nothing interesting me here this week. Plenty of games in the backlog though to keep me muchos busy (NHL 2K7 for 360, Baten Kaitos Origins, Mega Man ZX).
I still can't wait for November.
more casual games @ Oct 2nd 2006 3:16PM
Wow.. that's a lot of casual/downloadable games earmarked this week with "proper retail" games taking a back seat!
360 is lacking some releases but that will be addressed big time nearer xmas and especially first half of 2007!
George @ Oct 2nd 2006 3:58PM
#6 Wow, the 360 games just keep pouring out. NOT! Are they even making games for that thing?
Are you a retard? jesus there was like 5-10 new games in the past two weeks. Two basketball games came out, import tuner challenge, alaskan adventures, doom, poker, dynasty warriors 2,just cause and probably a couple others i forgot. I really dont understand the negative comments about all the systems its so immature. God just enjoy what you got and if you dont like something shut up cause it wont change anyones opinion. People are going to get what they want regardless of what your dumb ass says.

I,Robot @ Oct 3rd 2006 4:18AM
Pirate Poppers.... that's just "Too" easy
Dominic @ Oct 3rd 2006 9:29AM
My bad on that refined. Wasn't looking at the calender at all. Anyway definitely looking forward to Scarface because I was hoping Just Cause would tide me over a bit too but that game just didn't feel "done." Seemed a little sloppy.
techyted @ Oct 3rd 2006 2:31PM
@#6, Come on now are you serious.... Ditto on all previous comments pointed towards you and anyone else who thinks there is something wrong since there are no new games for the X360. WTF.... What do you want, more games per month to either make you broke or repeat the 1980's and make a bunch of crappy games to destroy the gaming market again.
Robotic House Plant @ Oct 3rd 2006 7:32PM
Totem Ball is arriving to XBLA on October 4th. Cost is free, but you need the camera to play.
