I belive that at least this year the only people that are gonna fall on D are either RICH, or more RICH or even RICHER and a few enthusiast who are lonly with no girlfriend and spend all their hard earned income, God why didnt you gave me a girlfriend :(
Hah Vlad, great post. I think you've really adapted the feel of indexed. This one made me chuckle a little. Keep up the good work and don't let the haters out there get to you. Btw, all of your graphs have been correct, some people just don't know how to read them.
I think this is a really cool series you've got going here. Look forward to the next one.
While some might say D should be a subset to B I think thats a bit extreme. You don't reach "broke" levels till you pay $60+ for a title and thats a bit down the road. (assuming there are titles to buy that aren't multiplatform besides the 3 Final Fanasy XIII games) You should instead have D be anywhere where B overlaps with another letter and insert a proposed E in the center of all 3 to represent how you would be driven to "debt" and drowing in credit card bills months later.
lol, if you guys are that financially hurt... to be completely broke after buying a console.. get a life and stop playing games morons. don't buy something you can't completely afford.
The "First Paradox of Gaming" made sense (as simple a concept as it was), but the subsequent attempts at humor have fallen short.
In this latest voyage into the depths of uselessness, certain data points have been left out. For example, in the area where "A" overlaps "B", but *not* "C" there should be a value. Since "A" = PS3 owner and "B" = Xbox 360 owner, the overlap there could be a value of "redundancy." B + C = Bipolar ; C + A = Maximum Fun. Who knows? It doesn't matter.
In the previous iteration (Fanboys Fight Harder), Vlad was merely attacking Nintendo fans for no apparent reason (other than his flagrant bias) and with no supporting documentation. Also, the "graph" was invalid since the two axes did not correlate. Unless the point was, "The more extreme you are, the more of a fight you'll put up." In essence, the two axes were the *same* data set (hence the 1:1 ratio result in the graph). Useless.
I guess college isn't going so well for Vlad based on the intellect he has exhibited on this blog site.
*In Closing* Vlad, all PC gaming sucks and the Wii will outsell its competition by a ratio of 4:1.
To prove it, I'll give you the same consideration you gave us in regards to "facts" and/or "data"...none. But I’m right…because.
95% of the other posters are either not smart enough to understand the graphs or have no sense of humor. Why not make the next graph on this pandemic, but then I guess you really never want to insult your viewers....
* A: Xbox 360 owners * B: PS3 owners * C: Nintendo Wii owners * D: broke * E: Son of a soccer mom who thinks money falls off trees * F: Son of a soccer mom who couldn't afford the 360 after buying 'her perfect little ______' his very own PS3 * G: Son of a soccer mom who can't stop crying after he finds out he didn't get the big expensive gift
"lol, if you guys are that financially hurt... to be completely broke after buying a console.. get a life and stop playing games morons. don't buy something you can't completely afford."
"a" console?
Somehow I don't think you get how this works. Don't worry, you'll learn it in highschool.
And you're also taking it seriously while it shouldn't be. Yeah, we definitely got a preteen here.
If you truly believe all his graphs so far are correct, I highly recommend printing them out and having a math teacher explain the rudimentary things which you are ignoring. If you are no longer in middle/high school, then I seriously feel bad for you. Put down the goddamn controller and learn something.
That said, this is the first error free diagram of the series.
The Xbox is still expensive compared to the Wii, so Wii could say the same thing about Xbox 360, put D for both B and A, its C all the way, the only console worth its price ;)
Thanks negative commenters, I'd expect to hear such finicky nitpicking in the breakroom after a corperate meeting. I suppose the phrase "BECAUSE TEH INTERNETS IS SERIOUS BUISNESS" holds some weight with you guys.
I for one, appreciate the humor Vlad, seperates you guys from the run of the mill news-sites.
Seriously, why are there so many non-news posts on this BLOG? Especially over the weekend, which everyone knows is the peak time of the week for game news. I can't believe you guys have so little journalistic blah, blah, blah.
Honestly, if some of you don't like the dude's posts that's your prerogative but those of you who feel the need to stop and post something hostile and aggressive everytime he posts anything need to chill out. You're not paying for anything. If you don't like the content deal with it.
