Your brethren over at JOYSTIQ turned this news into a bashfest on the PSP, ranting about how this is just another port in a string of ports, how disappointing, blah blah. Which, naturally, started yet another firestorm between the PSP and DS advocates.

Nothing new for them, but irritating nonetheless.

Let's not bash the PSP here. However, bash the DS all ya want! I mean, what's that whole dual screen thing about anyway? It's not like you're a chameleon and can watch them both at the same time.

Think of it this way - if you were to find the portable of your dreams, were blissfully happy with all its games and got transported to a higher plane of gaming enjoyment whenever you played it, would your first thought be 'Damn, I need to go post on the internet about how awful the other handhelds are!'

...Exactly.

In an effort to actually get on topic... I fear the voice-acting in this game. I loved the jap version, but never played it on the PS2. Will my balls shrivel up like old prunes and creep back inwards when I hear it? I want to recommend the US version for a friend, but I don't want anything unfortunate to happen to him either. Cheers.

I have the european version, perhaps I am retarded but the game just seemed unreasonably hard. I wouldnt really recommend it to anyone.

I wanted to love the game but just wasnt playable by normal people.

#5: It depends... some people have a knack for it, and some don't. My girlfriend passed it in a few days, and it took me weeks. Just because a game is difficult doesn't mean you shouldn't recommend it. The music is regarded as being among the best video game soundtracks out there. Considering this is a rhythm game, that can be reason enough to recommend it.
