I really need to stop coming here, when this is the only new blog entry in 5 days and I already read it on Joystiq about 3 or 4 days ago.

First of all congrats on the first post in five days, by the way why did you leave xbox360fanboy.com?

I think that the xbox 360's cpu is more powerful because if you can't use potential than there is NO potential. That is what seems to be happening to the cell.
Just my 2 cents

If only there was more to discuss. Perhaps discussion-based topics from the mind of an editorial writer. Hmm... if only Xbox360Fanboy had one of those.

*cough*

Abuzar: Thanks! I'm the managing editor at Joystiq now, responsible for the day to day over there. Cut my teeth here on X360F though, glad to be back. If only for a little while.

The crowd thing doesn't look write to me. I mean, their movement animation and independence all seems in check, but they all seem to be going nowhere. why is there a crowd of people circling eachother? if you were to watch them from the rooftops would they all just walk around mindlessly in the same area?

@5

If you're going to nitpick that the crowd is just wandering aimlessly, then no game on the planet will ever be good enough for you. If the devs had to put AI into each person to give them a life of their own, they'd be wasting time. It doesn't matter if they walk back and forth. The gameplay mechanics are in the fact that you can actually hide in the crowd, get slowed down by them, and utilize their presence.

Personally, I like it when developers spend time making good achievements. EA is really poor at this. It's good to see someone taking achievements seriously enough...

"Is it that the triple-core processor in the 360 is more powerful than Sony's Cell (we don't think so)"

AI is all about branching logic the 360 is much better than the ps3 , just like the ps3 is better at floating point..

As much as I'd like to think this would make a massive difference between the games, I can't help thinking it's just a big overplayed.

THe lack of vibration is quite a problem though for many designers as it's being used more and more creatively for gameplay reasons other than "you hit a wall". How any Sony fan can be content knowing their future console of choice won't be having this is beyond me.

A.I is important to the fun in a game though and if it is true then I guess that's another good reason to buy a 360 over (or aswell as) a PS3.
