frogbrother, I was thinking that the other day too. ROTT would be kickass for XBLA, know what else I would kill to see on XBLA but we can probably forget about anyway?

System Shock and System Shock 2.

*sigh*

That would be soooooooo bad ass.

BAZING!, C. Grant!

I think the issue with Microsoft of wanting it or not is the content of Duke Nukem 3D (aside from violence): drug use, porno mags, and naked chicks. This maybe acceptable to retail games, but accessing this via XBLA is a different story.

Although, I would find it ironic if nudity is the reason of censorship because of the availability of the DOAX2 trailers.

E.J. Just remember: excessive violence = okay. Sex/nudity = Bad.

now take this philosophy and apply it to the world we live in, as in, what we as individuals do on a daily basis.

Is it just me, or is there something inherantly wrong with our culture.

Well, since I wrote the posts that are part of this story...

If we did have it there, we'd probably outsource the work to someone else. id Software didn't do the XBLA port, Nerve did that. Why assume we'd do the port ourselves, and not outsource the work?

So joe... when you think about Duke Nukem, do you fly into a frothy mouthed rage?

Joe,

I'll be completely honest... I don't care who does the port if/when it happens, as long as I get to play Duke Nukem 3D on XBLA... Many of my best multi-player memories come from Duke 3D sessions.

I'm guessing Mr. Grant only assumed you'd do the port so he could make a DNF funny ;)

Hey Joe! Thanks for stopping by!

Well, even if 3DR doesn't do the port, there's got to be some sort of involvement from your side, right?

Ah, I'm just playing! Maybe we're all angry 'cause we wanted DN3D instead of Doom ...

Doom came before Duke for sure but I'm not sure I'd call it "the big dog" of FPSes.

Duke pretty much hands Doom it's ass on a plate in terms of game play and fun factor. Especially in the multilayer arena.

My guess is Duke would double Doom in XBLA sales easily.

If you can Mulitplayer in Duke...
That would be awesome.
This is one of my all time favorite Games.
If this comes out with mulitplayer at $5 it's a no brainer.
