never played WOW but I laughed allot. Silly fun.

My friend just got WOW about 2 weeks ago so I want to show him this ASAP.

As always South Park shows how awesome they are and how GARBAGE FAMILY GUY is in comparasion.

Ok, guys. This may come as a shocker, but there WAS A Leeroy Jenkins reference. However, instead of doing the unsubtle, retarded battlecry, that has become staler than old bread, they snuck it in there.

Watch the episode on Google Video. I caught it the first time, but maybe you guys need some help. Before they attack the guy "with no life" Cartman says "I WILL use intimidating shout."

Do you guys remember that quote? If you're fans of the Pals for Life video, then you would recognize it as one of the funnier lines in the whole thing.

If you want to be hit in the face with your humor, watch ATHF, but if you're looking for some subtlity, perhaps you should stay away from South Park.

(Although the part where Cartman shits on his mom was pretty funny)

As a recovering hardcore raider who used to play 50+ hours a week while raiding the endgame instances with a fairly advanced guild... I have to say that this shit is dead on. Deleting my characters and cancelling my account was the best thing that's ever happened to my life. I was cracking up the entire time.

colin: I wondered why my girlfriend laughed so hard at that part.

Anyone else notice that there was no Horde, ever, in the entire episode?

i think the way cartman was talking at the part where the boys were fighting the "character who has no life" was a reference to leeroy jenkins video in which the leader of the party was speaking just like cartman

Just want to point out that either Stan's or Kyle's guy is a hunter yet has a shield on his back. Now I will commit suicide.

"Before they attack the guy "with no life" Cartman says "I WILL use intimidating shout.""

I MADE THE CONNECTION TOO!!

witht he exact wording and the tone he used, i was SURE it was a reference, good to see somebody else see it too.

"57. I was waiting for them to find out that the Sword of 1000 Truths was bind on pickup..."

HAHAHA!! i was actually watching it TERRIFIED that that would happen. but i thought it was fine that he didnt know how to give it to him.

"open up your inventory, control I"
"ok..."

@farkman

Yeah, it sure is a drug. I wasn't too thrilled with the episode comedically, but your analysis hits the target, and opened my eyes a bit. Now if I could just force myself to stop raiding and get on with life, all would be better. Which, by the way, is a draw that MMOs have that could've been addressed in SP. The fixation, the desire for epic loot. Suprised that they didn't have the greifer decked out in Judgement or Dreadnaught.

...God, I need to stop playing.

Played the game for about a year. Quit because it was taking over my life. Laughed my arse off at this episode.

A previous poster said something about everyone in South Park Studios playing WOW, and this seemed obvious to me after watching the show. Loved the little inside jokes.

And I almost lost all control when Cartman started yelling out buffs.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if Matt and Trey play/played it. I heard even Dave Chappelle played for awhile.

Lovage you are the only one complaining (Fat pimply nerd anyone? Message board troll much Lovage?) People are simply pointing out innaccuracies that were most likely put there for that very purpose. A true fan of either South Park or WoW would appreciate these and thus the comments on it here. I have seen NONE that were whining complaints of innacuracies, just people with good eyes pointing out the hidden and slightly obvious. Lovage, you should stick with cartoons like Spongebob and Teen Titans that don't stress your mind so much. And yes while some people who play WoW are fat, pimple nerds I can pretty much gaurantee I got laid more last weekend then you will in the next 5 years.

Top those comparing this to .hack; the idea and premise of reaching a new level has been done A MILLION TIMES EVEN BEFORE.hack. DBZ, Matrix, Mega Man X, in so many kung fu movies. Its just in a video game that they reach a "new level" that it has any similarity.

To the people nitpicking the inaccuracies, get a sense of humor. Does something as trifle as how they level, or what spells they use or crap like that matter? They aren't writing a freakin guide for the game, they are satirizing it and its players(including themselves since they play it).

Remember the episode The Return of the Fellowship of the Rings to the Two Towers? OH MAN IT WASN'T CALLED THE MOUNTIAN PASS OF OORALOCK! THATR TOTALLY INACCURATE!! Obvious satire, the only difference here is the content they are making fun of. As for the motives and personalities of the kids, they practically change every episode. Matt and Trey's favorite episodes are the ones in which the children are just that, children. Cartman may be evil inside but he is still a kid. Sometimes playing a video game is more entertaining than making somone eat their parents.
