Actually, it doesn't look that much fun.... can you change the difficulty level? and although bizarr Japanese art is fun in a way, I'd much prefer a Wario theme throughout the game...

Ok. Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking?

This looks like something that graphically could have been done on the SNES. Maybe this should be available as a download for $8.

I can't believe someone is trying to sell this as a next generation game for $50! Where is the outrage?

You can use the line about putting gameplay before graphics, but let's not get carried away and just throw together a graphically poor game if you don't have to. This looks like an indie game that could be hosted on a website.

@Adrian.

If this warioware is anything like the DS game then the mini games get much quicker the longer you survive and it is going to be fun. maybe if you saw what the person with the control was doing while playing you'd see how fun it looks.

warioware DS is one of the first games i let my friends without a DS play and so far everyone has enjoyed playing it, and some even got a little addicted :D

i can't wait for this game!

I must disagree

I think playing this game is like playing a game based on both Jackass and Robot Chicken, pointless violence and utter randomness

Hey, Jackass was #1 for two weeks in a row...

Not that fun? Have you even played Warioware on the Cube (that's is with more than two people)?

This game looks awsome. I love all of the other Warioware titles, espeacially the Gamecube version.

These games are great for parties because the are furiously fast and very funny - I can't imagine how funny it's going to be now that the player interaction is so much more involved with the use of the Wiimote.

Adrian vG: have you played past WarioWare games before? I ask mostly because there has never really been a "Wario theme" through all the microgames (though, IIRC, there are sections of anime-themed or NES-themed games), but also because you should know that when it speeds up and you get more variety in the games, it gets REALLY frantic REALLY fast, and that's the real fun of the game. Of course, you don't really stand a chance at that point unless you've already experienced all the games at a slower pace so you can recognise what you have to do quickly.

You know, I was on the fence before, but I think I just might get WarioWare for my Wii. Only if it has a full multiplayer mode, though, as I've never tried that (only the GCN version has had multiplayer so far) but all the official release (on nintendo's press site) says is "Mostly 1-player, some 2-5 players." It also says it will feature Mii's in some way, which will be neat.

Now if only they'd announce an Ouendan/Elite Beat Agents for Wii! Now THAT would have you moving!

Justin is very right. These games are only so-so on your own, but the fun level gets ASTRONOMICAL when playing with lots of other people. This ought to be a blast.

I have no clue why people think this is cool. This is the perfect game only for people with severe ADD and who think Saturday morning cartoons have excellent animation.

More practially, does anyone really think this is worth $50?

#2 - RE: SNES Graphics & Price

I take it that you have not played any of the WarioWare games on any of the systems. You really should try ANY of them out...they are really a blast to play. I prefer the GCN version for multi-player (Wobbly Bobbly is the BEST) and the DS version for solo play.

ANYWAY - The point of this reply is that Wario is a lazy fool, and he gets all of the other people in his world to make the games for him (while he takes the money and credit for making them). This is why the art styles change from genre to genre within the game. The 'crappy' graphics are part of the charm of this game for me.

ALSO - Please remember that WarioWare: Mega Mi¢roGame$ for the GCN was (is) only $30...not $50.
