Ugh, I hate people who say things just because everyone else is. Honestly all the "I HATE THESE GRAPHS" and "JOYSTIQ SUCKS" comments are fairly childish. Half of you are only saying it because other people are. It's not like it would hurt you to skip the post, yet you complain and whine about how you don't like the graphs. Joystiq doesn't care whether or not you like them, it's THEIR website. Plus you keep giving them high counts of hits, so they'll keep coming. I'm tired of reading your idiodic complaints about these graphs.

IN THE BLUE CORNER:

"I say Bravo Joystiq! If you can keep the charts going long enough to get all the clueless idiots to give up and leave, then maybe everyone left can actually have some intelligent discussion in the comment areas."

- So you're applauding Joystiq for weeding out all the clueless idiots that give them their site hits? Are we supposed to have "intelligent discussion" in a comment section of a blog about a simple diagram made to poke fun at the gaming industry?

AND THE RED CORNER:

"These are just retarded. Joystiq, come on! I don't get crap like this from Kotaku. Hell, I don't get crap like this from PS3 fanboy."

- uh... so why do you come to joystiq? why don't you just stay in kotaku and ps3 fanboy? *confused*

I don't care either way, but these comments that are left by the haters and lovers (attackers/defenders??) are pretty entertaining. more so than the original point!

whatever that point happened to be... it was lost in the endless critcism and bashing.

I think ever since that midnight wii hype, us, the comment leaving masses, feel we have some power over how this site is run when we whine. We even got a public apology!

we got a sense of power... we smell fear... and it smells gooooood.

I didn't really find it funny, but as long as it's made some people smile that's all that matters. If these graphs are causing people to flick off their computer in disgust, then maybe they're having a positive effect.

Maybe they'll go out and plant loads and loads of Acorns instead, thus leading to a brighter, greener and more beautiful world.

Wow. This one is actually funny.

And most of the C groups seems to be composed of Sony fanboys, who will immediately start attacking anyone who criticized their alligance, instead of "Wiitards" and "Xbots" who will actually *defend* their opinions.

Vlad is getting lots of sh*t about the retarded Venn diaunfunnygrams, and Kyle is smugly taking over the duties of pissing off the community too.

**How about adding in, "Controllers that rumble". This article reminds me of the Rumble debate between Wii and PS3; here's my opinion on that:**

The fact that Nintendo is giving full motion control technology with an internal rumble device in the Wii Remote means that it IS possible to achieve both. Also, perhaps now that you heard from Sony that the PS3 controllers would have to be more expensive if they included both pieces of technology, people will give Nintendo some slack for charging 60 bucks for a Wii Remote and Nunchuck attachment.

Keep in mind, a PS3 controller on its own is $40. A Wii Remote is also $40. So if you think about it, you're paying $20 more for a full Wii controller setup, but in addition to getting full motion sensitivity compared to "6 axis movement", you also get the rumble effect.

When you look at it that way, the controller combo for Wii isn't too unafordable. Plus, remember that when you buy Wii Play, you get Wii Remote bundled with it. (Unless things change from here on out, that's a great deal).

As for my opinion on the PS3 controller not rumbling, I think it's a mistake. I played PS3 at E3 and believe me, there was something very noticeable missing when I crashed my car into the walls in Gran Turismo...no forced feedback.

To some it won't be a big deal, but most of us have gotten very use to this feature since Star Fox 64 came out in June of 1997. That's a lot of rumbling throughout the last 9 years.

I enjoy these graphs and diagrams.

Other people do, too.

If you don't, skip over them.

End of story.
