Weekly Webcomic Wrapup: October 1 - 7, 2006

For once, PA actually has the best one! And I don't like voting for them but I will this time

*sigh* let's get this out of the way:

I voted for PA, anywhoo.

I voted for PStP, but the funniest part was "I'm too tired to arbitarily vote for PA" LOL Good one, Joystiq. Had me in stitches.

I could never get enough of VG Cats.

Every time I see that green camo buggy with those monkeys in it i think it's a warthog and get excited for halo news.

So what's with the Gorillaz theme?

A Loco Roco comic I actually enjoyed, bravo. Still voted for PStP though.

I never grow tired of Zelda OoT jokes. Especially not those involving chickens ^-^

So did anyone get the Punks and Nerds one?

You know, I have to say, I NEVER understand why VG Cats is so gosh darned popular...today's comic is a perfect example of how boring it always is. Even the crappy comics have gems...I have *yet* to laugh at a VG.

The Punks and Nerds one hit so close to home that I couldn't respond. It was like "wow, I'm the star of this comic." But yes I got it. I think we all got it, unlike Twilight Princess, which no one has gotten last time I checked.

VG cats wasn't great.. I never tried the game they are speaking of.. so I suppose thats probably why I don't get it!

It was very hard to choose.. I mean Penny Arcade had an important comic, wasn' super funny though but definately needed! Press Start to Play was very funny.. especially since I've played the game in question..

Digital Unrest was okay, sorta funny..

Fanboys wasn' super great. .but the second comic totally made up for it!

In the end.. Press Start to play did all it all in one comic, and so it got my vote.. the others should get honorable mensions!

The dragon tails one is completely underrated. I thought it was hilarious.

I don't even read Dragon tails when it comes up.. I just hate how everything looks.. so I can't stand to even view it.

I vote for teh fanboys. Most other gaming webcomics have gone downhill as of late, but Fanboys keeps up the good work.

It's a good change to see Press Start to Play do something funny again though.

I have to admit I'm a sucker for slapstick so this weeks vote goes to PStP
