Thats so sweet. Valve and X360 can both benefit immensely from this decision. Now all we need is an interface with STEAM and we're set (but PLEASE do not make it an installation on the Hard Drive.)

You're very right. They should bundle ANOTHER game into the uber deal they are doing! If they can fit that on one DVD (has it been announced to be using multiple discs as it is?) then it would be a great marketing ploy, 'you don't NEED Blu-ray, we can get OVER THREE games on one standard DVD, so there'.

Am I missing the "developers cheer" part of the article, or did you just make that up?

I hope they don't plan on selling this for $60. This game is old. And while I loved playing CS for over three years, I would think the map designs will continue to be limited (as with the Xbox version of CS).

"In the end, it's not like it really matters. We just want our Counter-Strike Source, am I right?"

You hope they don't sell what for $60? This isn't about a game... it's a game ENGINE. Other developers pay to use the Source engine rather than building their own game engine, or paying for a different engine.

Drew, the last time I check my wallet and XBL account it was 'all about the games'. If it was only about the gaming engine I would have stayed exclusively on the PC. Maybe you don't buy games for the game, but I sure as heck do.

Curious, would you buy a Yugo if it had V8 sourced from BMW for $60K? I doubt it, but why not? Its al about the source engine. Doh!
