Just dont play all the games in november and with all the games for 360 who even needs a ps3 or the wii. I sure dont. Then when january through april roll around youll have plenty of other games you missed at christmas to play when nothing comes out for a month or so.

I'd love to see CVG's source on this one, which they don't mention. Hm...

First off, EBGames still lists every game as having an 11.07 ship date. And while I know retailers don't always have accurate information posted, considering the close relationship EB and Activision has always had and the sheer number of posters at any local EBGames and GameStop who have that actual date on them for all platforms...

Second, it mentions Gears of War "following only weeks later," when Epic has announced the exact same date (11.07) as the shipment date. Microsoft's "Emergence Day" may be the 12th, but Epic insists that there are no street dates for GoW.

And third, the PS3 version delayed until MARCH? If this were true, how come...nobody else seems to have gotten word about this, a month before the game and system are supposed to be out? I don't doubt CVG can get exclusive news sometimes, but this seems like a BIG one for all of the others to miss first.

On a side note, canning the XBOX version would also be a fairly poor idea on Activision's part, especially with a PS2 edition hitting as well. While the 360 and PS3 are faaaaar more powerful than the XBOX, the latter does have a much greater install base and the game would easily sell better than almost any other XBOX game this year (*insert joke about having very few XBOX1 games to compete with in the past 12 months*).

Those first two weeks of November are going to kill my wallet (and that doesn't include the hot DS titles coming out then too).

Even those only shopping 360 this November are going to be in for a pounding. Within the space of like, two weeks, you have CoD3, Rainbow Six: Vegas, and Gears of War.

yeah, I just cant play more than one of each genre at a time. I can only handle one FPS Racing Sports and Action/Adventure. And playing one of each of those gewnres is alot of playing anyways. I am only getting GoW, NFS:Carbon, Fuzion Frenzy, Tiger Woods, and all the accessories(HD-DVD, racign wheel, wireless headset, ect.) Raibow 6, and CoD3 will have to wait until January-March (usually drought of good games).

I mean juast think about playing R6, GoW, and CoD3. Switching between games it gets confusing with the controls, the stories are hard to follow, and online maps and clans get all mixed up. I am saying this just from buying CoD2 and GRAW at the same time, and just two games was anoying.

Forza 2 is not coming out in November, by the way. It's been delayed to next year, but not to a specific date.

gotta hand it to microsoft, and all of the developers under the xbox flag. Way to make sure our wallets are empty before we even consider buying a ps3 or a wii...

Say what you will about the competition, but there is something to be said about being able to spend your hard earned cash on expanding your game collection, rather than just having to dish it all out on a new console that at this point only offers first gen.

makes me think of the 360 as an 'investment'

in other news, they sure dished out another call of duty awfully quick...

This ad is from Microsoft for the Original Xbox, trying to promote sales on Original games..

Top of ad says New Games, Original Xbox..
and pictured are Nascar07, Call of Duty 3, MK: Armageddon, FamilyGuy, Justice League, Avatar, Destroy All Humans2, Scarface, ThrillVille, and TH: Project 8..

Makes sense for the PS3 delay as everyone is complaining about online not being ready for PS3. The online element to this game is huge...so if Sony isn't ready for the show than neither will any Online centric game.

This November could just be one of the best months for video games ever. I'll be getting Forza 2, CoD3, the Wii, and Gears of War, making me one poor (but satisfied) gamer by Thanksgiving. Wii-60 combo FTW!
