I actually played this at the Digital Life show here in New York this weekend and it totally rocks!! Super fun to play and looks REALLY good!! Looks like a 800 point title to me, but that's just speculation!!!

This game looked extraordinarily polished at DigitalLife so a November release wouldn't shock me.
Also, Mark Coates (I think that was his name) of Microsoft was patrolling the XBLA booth and when I asked about Lumines Live he asked if I checked Live every Wednesday...
I said, of course.
He said, "Well, we haven't announced anything yet but I think any Lumines fans will soon be very happy."
I dunno if that meant THIS week...but probably within a month!
p.s. he seemed like a really nice guy, dunno if anyone else here talked to him or saw him lurking.

I'm happy that they've got something resembling a release date...but could they have picked a worse month? Two console launches and big guns like Gears of War are going to distract a lot of people, and I want to see original content succeed so we don't have to deal with a 400-point old arcade game every Wednesday for the next couple of years. =p
Anyway, I eagerly look forward to that...now, where's my promised Settlers of Catan and Carcasonne?
