Call of duty 2- the next gen version was exclusive and was a very diff game than call of duty : Big red one

Where is Killzone 3 coming from? I have yet to see Killzone 2 gameplay since E3'05. It is a big jump to say that the sequal to a unknown status game will be exclusive to one system. Can I put down GoW 3 for the 360??

I'm surprised B33 didn't include Duke Nukem Forever and StarCraft Ghost as PS3 exclusive...

Relax, I think your getting a little to emotionally involved in this. Unless your name is Kojima and you never change your mind, you could be wrong. Times change and so do plans. If the 360 has an impressive install base why not port the game. There is nothing wrong with porting a quality game to other consoles to increase revenue.

As someone pointed out earlier the only sure fire games that are exclusive would be Sony's first party offerings.

Your taking lumps on this forum for no reason, just except the fact that the list you have is probably not 100% correct.

Disregarding B33's dumbass lists and the idiotic drama following, the darn page won't load for me. But one thing that sticks out in Joystiq's summary is that "Wii control exclusivity" thing. Now, this post isn't anti-Nintendo in any way shape or form, but when I think of the Wiivolution (my name for it), I think really cool controls, slightly aged graphics. Fact of the matter is, most people will see the PS3/360 versions and "graphically exclusive," because things like CoD 3 will look so god damn awsome on them. And of course then there's the difference between the controllers of those two (tilt/vibration). Every console is "exclsive" in it's own feature set. Don't be a dumbass and say just one is (though you're aloud to say one particular version is better *in your opinion* ;).

thats the point. its a list of confirmed titles not unconfirmed and maybe exclsuives. both the 360 and wii have tons of those. theres 2 more halo games being done by bungie and peter jackson. did i add them to the list? no

the point is to compare confirmed titles. right now the 360 has more. thats due to being a year older and having a bigger installed base right now. when u spin possible games it looks like your grasping for straws. right now i only care about a few games. some are multi some are excluisve.

According to some reports, Killzone 2 is actually the PSP game coming out soon... While Killzone 3 will be the PS3 version... It should just be "Killzone" since Guerilla hasn't confirmed anything... Maybe the Sony press event today will tell us something.

Officially, Duke Nukem Forever is still in development, not "on hold".

Please read my whole comment before replying.

First, I would like to get away from the list, since there are plenty of good games coming on all three systems that weren't listed in the original article.

Second, I would like to touch on something brought up in the original article and quoted by Joystiq: "Since the Wii has a its own control scheme, Call of Duty 3 is going to play quite differently on the Wii than it is on the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. Will this cause gamers to purchase two versions of the same game? "
Like I mentioned in my first post, I personally think I will buy two versions of the same game. What about you guys, and this inbludes B33 since he says he plans to buy all the systems.

Thirdly, also from my first post, will the availability of vibration affect your decision as to which system you buy your game on? Personally, I have grown accustomed to gaming with vibration, and enjoy it alot. Hypothetically, if you have both a PS3 and 360, and a game comes out that is identical on both systems with the only difference being vibration, would that make a difference as to which system you buy it for?

Of course the Wii has more games. Just pull out your Gamecube dev kit, blow the dust off, add some Wiimote functions....presto! A new Wii game.

i'm really getting tired of people saying that the wii is nothing more than a repackaged gamecube with a new controller. using that logic the ps3 is essentially a repackaged ps2 with better graphics and no rumble.

Hahaha, I knew I could get at least one person to get upset. i_hate_mtv, I'm getting one too, on launch day. Yes, I appreciate GC-Wii differences, but the Wii has a hard sale in graphics side by side with its rivals.

With the long time between now & the game's release, the tight competition facing Sony on both sides, & their own self-made barriers to success, I see Hideo Kojima SUDDENLY uprooting his masterpiece shopping it around to the other systems in order for his work to reach a reasonable audience. Basically he will abandon a sinking ship.

I don't see 3rd party supporting Sony strongly this gen. It will be a reverse of what happened in the PS1 days & a deja vu of what happened in the N64 days. A mass exodus of 3rd party support.

Square-Enix is shaky about Kingdom Hearts 3 being only on Sony. Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007 (part of a long series that has always been a PS exclusive) "forwent?" the PS3 for the XBox 360, PSP, and PS2??? Why skip PS3? A big hit like a wrestling game from the WWE franchise? That makes no sense. PS2 still makes strong sales. PSP has SOME salespower. XBox 360 has a little sales & that game on that system may create a new buyer base for that series to ensure MORE sales. It broke exclusivity as well which is another point.

Things are not well in the Sony house. 3rd party is getting flaky toward Sony & it will only get worse if PS3 doesn't meet a decent sales forecast.

Between now & 2008 in the midst of the year-long headstart XBox 360 has & what this phenomenal Wii is about to bring to the table, you REALLY think Sony is gonna be able to coast by taking for granted that 3rd party support that has put them on the map???
When 3rd party leaves Sony, Sony's good as dead.
Their 1st party just can't hack it as a system supporter/backbone like Nintendo's.

I stand by my words. PS3 will NEVER see MGS4.
And when my prediction comes true it will be the tripletake shock of every gamer viewing the industry. The bug-eyed spit take of utter disbelief.

Sony has to do so much to make sure the PS3 sells reasonably that I think they're not aware of how big of a bite they chewed.

Haha it's funny what B33 did. He looked at the list of confirmed titles and said "we need to add this and this and this! The list isn't complete." Then some people responded that this n' that on B33's list wasn't accurate, so B33 revised it... then revised it again. Then people were still complained and B33 says "ok fine ignore the list, they're not confirmed anyway" and we're all like Exactly! You see, the ORIGINAL list on the website is ACCURATE. Please read things through next time before posting.

B33, I don't have anything against you for being a Sony fanboy. What I DO hold against you is not grasping the basic premise of the story and wasting all our time with your uninformed arguments.

I just want to point out that flOw will not be exclusive to the PS3. For starters, you can play it online at any time for free. Also, you can download it for PC play.

Third, and most interesting in my opinion, is that you can play it online... and Wii has a web browser that supports Flash. So, you can theoretically play flOw on Wii as well as the PS3 'arcade'.
