I was one of the lucky few, check out my gamertag if you want (click link above). There is an unfortunate aspect to it though, whenever you launch the game it kicks you off of Xbox LIVE and you cannot get back on so I can't talk about the lag in MP but the single player is well done. Well worth the nostalgic effects.

"..accidentally hit the wrong key"??

I very much doubt it. This kind of thing is a great piece of juicy press to take the edge off the Lumines sting.

Also, let's not kid ourselves, there's no 'key' at all to add games, they would have had to upload it to their central distribution server, and then made it publically accessible, plus setup the money links to it. There's NO WAY that's all an 'accident'...

#5 - It's very common for all the peices to be in place, awaiting one final "button push" to put all the pointers in place. It's not that far fetched that someone accidentally promoted Wednesday's code a wee bit early by accident.

*eyes his spot on the board* Er.. wait, hit-list? I meant ... be-very-nice-to list. :)

Word on the street is that it'll be up ("f'reals") within the next few hours.

As unusual as a Saturday release of an XBLA game is, it is official - Major Nelson has mentioned it in his blog (http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2006/10/21/Arcade-Ultimate-Mortal-Kombat-3.aspx), and has also commented that a lot of people aren't seeing it (or the THP8 demo), and that he's escalating the matter with the Marketplace team.

Major Nelson has posted an update to the situation: Both MK and TH are starting to appear in Marketplace for folks...if you don't see it yet, give it time as the team is actively working on this...meaning it may appear/dissapear/re-appear. Both titles will be available as soon as they can address the issue. Again, thanks for your patience. I won't have a chance to check for an update for a few hours, but it should be fixed by then. By the way: Your abilty to see (or not see) the content has nothing to do with your geo-location.
