Graphics look nice but gameplay looks boring, something which IGN mentioned in their hands on report.. they're concerned that the game will get tired over the 10 hours or so it takes to complete. Comparing this to Resistance is pointless and stupid, yes they're both FPS games but in a game where action takes place in confined spaces with a small number of enemies then of course the detail can be higher. Resistance has wide open battle fields with all kinds of explosions, weapons effects and numerous enemies all over the screen. Having played Insomniacs last few games i'm certain Resistance will be a helluva lot of fun regardless of how many polygons it's pushing. As others have said 1st gen PS3 games won't necessarily look better than 2nd Gen 360 games, that's just common sense.

I'm much more excited about Lost Planet.

Voice acting was pretty bad. What bothers me still is we are in "next-gen" and still your teammates can barely hit anything. The enemy AI is brutal. The whole reason multiplayer is fun if because your teammates and enemies are generally tools.

DOH, in #154 I meant "aren't generally tools."

Guess whose the tool now!

Hey, I watched this video two or three weeks ago on teamxbox! I had just heard that GoW was supposed to be very good, so I googled for it. And there it was, first link, teamxbox, this exact video and others. And, by the way, if you watch the explanation of the philosophy behind the game play, GoW starts looks much more exciting. The game isn't simply about shooting, but it's also in a large extent about _getting cover_.

In this, I find this a great improvement over all other FPS. In fact, I was a bit disappointed in that getting hit seems to be as important (ie, not very) as in every other FPS game.
