I applaud Ubisoft for taking more time to make sure Assassin's Creed is polished to the max before release!

It won't be more polished.
They are just moving all the people from AC to GRAW2.
AC will not improve during this time.

Also, why they delayed those games?
Maybe so they could release them all multiplatform at the same time: http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/24/ubisoft-14-wii-titles-by-march-2007/

Saw the Assasin's creed trailer a while ago and was not really impressed. GRAW2 is likely going to be a bigger hit anyway.

3.I disagree that they won't improve the game leading up to release Hiro that would be insane!

It's 4th quarter in terms of the fiscal year, which usually begins in April.

Jan-Mar is probably the fiscal fourth quarter for Ubisoft. Companies have their quarters at all different times. Microsoft's fiscal fourth quarter is Apr-Jun. IBM's is Oct-Dec. It's just when the company ends their fiscal year.

However, when we talk about release date "Q1" means the first quarter of the calendar year and not the fiscal year for which ever company. Hence the use of the word fiscal.

At Revadarth-

That's the exact same thing I said when I read this. I was really looking forward to playing Assassin's Creed early next year. Guess not.

Basically, now these two titles are Holiday 2007 releases, so I wouldn't worry about them much for another year. But if Ubi really wants to "beat" EA, then I guess releasing a new version of the same game every year is a good (well, BAD unless it really IS much better) way to start (GRAW 2...).

:::Sigh::: I was looking forward to both of these games, BiA in particular. Oh well. After seeing the choppy frame rate from the E3 trailer for BiA, I'm glad they're holding onto it a while longer.

Laughable A.I. come on you have to be kidding right. I think its some of the best A.I on the 360 right now, more so in the online co-op than the solo missions, but those a.i. mexicans got me more times than I can count and Im actually pretty good at the game, hit up my gamertag its regula oblique.

i LOVE GRAW. one of the greatest games ever made in my opinion. it is NEARLY perfect. sure the AI is just OK, but most aspects of that game are AMAZING.

and as much as i like the idea of ANOTHER GRAW, i would like it to be later. 1 year apart is HARDLY enough time. 1 and a half AT LEAST. will i still buy the game though? OF COURSE!!

but it better be a really good game with some improvements, or it will forever dampen my thoughts of GRAW. it better not just be some slightly tweaked version. i want REAL improvements, a REAL story, and better graphics(though the GRAW graphics were great).

i just wish we had a longer time to let it soak in.

and AC getting pushed back sux, but as long as its good im ok with it.

[prays that they dont mess up GRAW]

I'm actually glad that Assassin's got pushed...first, I'm not getting it till I get my PS3 (not till next year) anyway, plus this ensures Ubi can put more time and effort into this amazing-looking game.

I don't even like tactical shooters, and the little bit of GRAW I played titilated me. yes, titilated. Hmm!

Lame.

GRAW 2?

Cool...

Please give us:

- Compass heading so we can tell team-mates which way, other than 'over by that old barn... No, no... The OTHER old barn...'

- ...a simpler HUD, with less info... Too easy to just shoot at red outlines, so I always turn off the drone. Too much flashing. The graphic detail on this game is great; just have some faith in it and let me have to observe what's happening, find my objectives and opponants WITHOUT arrows and outlines.

- More Co-op missions or sallow single-player game to be co-op (As a bonus, why not just take the missions from GR2 and GR2:SS and port them over to the 360? Even the same missions would be great... My friends and I still enjoy playing those as Co-op, and they're better missions than most of the GRAW co-op. The only one on par is the 'Shipping Docks.'

- Instead of giving us so many 'outfit changes,' give the enemy some outfit changes... It's pretty lame that every 'Rebel Rifleman' looks EXACTLY the same...

- Even GTA:3 had citizens running around... Why is Mexico City, one of the largest cities in the world, abandoned? As it is, all you have to do is shoot anything that moves (unless it has a bright blue outline, of course! Throw some citizens in there. This is NEXT-GEN isn't it? Panicked citizens and cars crashing while trying to get out of the area would be amazing.

- Just rip-off the bombing and hostage games from SOCOM for online "versus," already, Ubi... Your online versus modes are boring and pointless...

That is all. I know no one will see this, but I feel better now, anyway.

LOL... Math FTL. Hey smart guy... quarter means 1/4... 12 months in a year... so 1/4 of 12 is 3.

October to Feb is like 5 months... lol. Less games, more homework.

i LOVE the red outlines. sure it makes it easier, but really adds an advanced technology feeling to it.

and i agree that there should be some citizens at the BEGINNING of an area...but they would probably run inside...and lots of traffic and cars.

but overall...that game is amazing and there IS room for improvements.
