Full Guitar Hero II setlist with 24 bonus tracks

No sooner did we let y'all know that DethKlok, the fictional band in Adult Swim's Metalocalypse, would be making an appearance as an unlockable bonus track in Guitar Hero II, than we found out the entire bonus song list ... 24 tracks in total! It appears certain Wal-Marts, depending on how many copies of Guitar Hero they sold, have demo kiosks with the sequel set up and ready to rock! Twenty-four low-res pictures later, we know the entire list of unlockable songs. Combine those with the forty tracks already confirmed, and you've got yourself quite the rock feast.
A notable addition: Popular Flash cartoon -- and Nintendo Tag Team Wrestling alum -- Strong Bad's metal/dragon opus Trogdor (The Burninator). Check out the video -- and the entire 64-track setlist -- after the break, then play the Trogdor game, to hone up on your burninating.

God...why...why must I be stuck waiting for the 360 version! (And wasn't the fake rock band called LimoZeen?)

I think this list is just proof that God loves us and wants us to have our faces rocked off.

Still wishing we had gotten "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness but I have to admit having DETHKLOK and Trogdor is pretty awesome. I see another song from the Acrobrats in there too... I thought theirs was the best bonus song in the first one.
Crowbar @ Oct 25th 2006 12:28PM
While the inclusion of Dethklok and Trogdor are equally awesome, I'm surprised and pleased by some of the other bonus songs. The sheer fact that Voivod is on it puts a smile to my face.
Goggle Hat @ Oct 25th 2006 12:36PM
Man, still no "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" by Kiss.
Corbin @ Oct 25th 2006 12:41PM
VOIVOD FTW!
KrazyIan @ Oct 25th 2006 12:44PM
The real gem on here is the absolute monster of a song that is "The Light That Blinds" by Shadows Fall. That song just rips your face off.
All Your Lost Socks @ Oct 25th 2006 12:54PM
I'm with you, Nao Lo Ding. Also, with a whole freakin' list of songs to unlock, why is there STILL no Dragonforce on there?! For the love of all that is holy, I want to break my guitar trying to hammer out Through the Fire and the Flames. Come on!

Buckethead on Guitar Hero II! yes!

Spinal Tap is pissed that their song may no longer be the best intentionally bad song on Guitar Hero 2.

I found a 10 song demo on usenet.
None of you should be looking forward to beating Psychobilly Freakout.
I spent my whole night on it and just barely got through.

Wow, I was just telling 2 friends about a month ago that Everytime I Die: The New Black should be on the new Guitar Hero. Sweet!

Do you folks like COFFEE?! Real coffee from the HILLS OF COLUMBIA?!?
I wish they put in the Dethklok coffee jingle instead :(
Vlad @ Oct 25th 2006 2:53PM
ah, the last nail in the coffin on my Tool-in-Guitar-Hero-II dreams. alas... and too bad the Minibosses or NESkimos aren't there, i thought I heard they might be on there.
still, I"m excited about Trogdor, and the return of Honest Bob, Count Zero, and Artillery. just 13 more days!!!
Boomaga @ Oct 25th 2006 3:46PM
Agreement in that Trogdor and Dethklok = Awesomeness, and Shadows Fall and Voivod make a nice touch too.
My only complaints come from the fact that you've got bands like Sword, Everytime I Die and Avenged Sevenfold up there but no Iron Maiden, Metallica or Slayer. I'm sure they would've cost a bit more for the classic metal, but I'll be damned of shredding to the Trooper or Raining Blood wouldn't be awesome.
WhaleMenace @ Oct 25th 2006 3:48PM
DEATHKLOK, STRONGBAD, AND BUCKETHEAD!!!! Holy shit. Buckethead.
Embassy @ Oct 25th 2006 5:00PM
trogdor was a man...
Joe @ Oct 26th 2006 6:26PM
Looks like my pre-order was worth it. Back in June.
BUT HE WAS STILL TROGDOR!!!!!!!!!!
automatic @ Oct 25th 2006 7:30PM
..he was a dragon man...
geekjutsu @ Oct 25th 2006 7:40PM
Actually boomaga, during Gamespot's After Hours, John Tam stated that they had held out for Iron Maiden but never ended up getting it. I believe the song was The Trooper.
As for the bonus songs, there are some bands I was hoping were in but the inclusion of Trogdor makes it a million times better.
The0therone @ Oct 26th 2006 1:31AM
I still want to see how they warrent Freebird being in the last song section....arnt those suppost to be the HARD songs?
if i remember correctly the solo in FB isnt really THAT complicated...
what? 3 or 4 different 3 button chords?
xGabrielx @ Oct 26th 2006 11:47AM
@27: Listen to the 12-minute live version, and you'll see what they're talking about.
