Wal-Mart selling Guitar Hero II early?

Some dude from an Arkansas Wal-Mart has posted pictures on the Gamer Age forum of his local store currently selling Guitar Hero II some two weeks before its official release on November 7. I'm sure Arkansas has tons of wannabe rockers itching to play Killing in the Name and Trogdor. Though we haven't checked our local Wally World, hopefully this is a nation-wide street date break and not just a Razorback/Natural State exclusive. In any case, hurry quick before the retailer fixes the early blunder! Go! Shoo!

Working at Wal-Mart #2006 in Lewiston, Idaho, I can tell you that we have not recieved Guitar Hero II yet, and that even if we DID have copies of it, we follow street dates RELIGIOUSLY. I'd imagine that heads are going to roll at that Wal-Mart once somebody in management finds out.

I find it funny how many people supposedly see GH2 for sale, but they didn't buy it. No offense, I smell BS from everyone. Let's see some in home pictures of gameplay to prove me wrong.

ya it turns out that i CALLED and asked if they had it, and the lady said "lemme go check." then comes back and says yes. i said "part 2? are you sure" and she said yes again. i went, and nothing....

I work at a Best Buy in Grand Rapids, MI, and my buddy just called me (who works there too) and we apparently just got the full game on demo display. No word yet as to whether we're getting the game itself in or not, but my guess is they'll have it in shortly. Checked a Wally World up here, and they didnt have it out yet.

MY GOD, IF THIS IS TRUE PLZ RELEASE A TORRENT ASAP! I NEED TO GET MY HANDS ON TESTING THIS GAME, THEN I'll BUY THE $80 VERSION AS LONG AS IT IS THE STORES NEXT TO MY HOUSE...
