I would choose the PC version just because of the added bonuses, but I already have it for Xbox. Great game too. I need to revisit it so I can do open-palm instead of closed-fist.

I just hope it doesn't run like ass. The KoTOR ports ran absolutely terrible for the level of graphics they were displaying. An X-Box is just a Celeron with a GeForce 3, even if it's optomized for gaming. There's no reason any game made on it shouldn't run fine on a PC that can run games being put out on the 360 now.

Anyways, really looking forward to this. I never got to play it on X-Box, and don't own one of my own, so it'll be good to finally check out some kung-fu RPG action.

Jade controlled pretty well with the Xbox controller, so if it's available for the PC, I would imagine that would be a popular choice, although many people have complained about the 360 controller drivers.

The keyboard configs can be personalized so I'll probably try that first.

Errrr #5 NWN 2 is being developed by Obsidian (some of whose members were from Black Isle, Bioware likewise is comprised of some ex-Black Islers, perhaps why you got confused?)

That optimization means a lot, but here's a question: were you playing at 640x480? If not, your PC videocard was probably doing 2-3 times the work of that Xbox one.

I didn't really like Jade Empire, for a number of reasons, here are some: The characters were more stereotypical than in any JRPG, the dialog was really dull which made me skip a lot of it, and the made-up language was incredibly badly done! All the characters had about 5 different sentences in it which they used over and over again, and the subtitles had names in them which they of course didn't say and they could be shouting or asking questions, still they would just say one of the few sentences and it just sounded plain stupid. There was nothing to explore, you were very limited to the areas where you could go.

Oh and the loading times... The arena at the Imperial City... At least that is something that can be fixed in the PC version. I might give it a shot at some point, if the changes are numerous enough.

LTI Gray Matter (http://www.livetech.com) is different from Gray Matter Studios (http://www.gmistudios.com). The former is the one doing the Jade Empire port, and the latter was merged into Treyarch to do Call of Duty 2: Big Red One and Call of Duty 3.
