Eragon swooping in un-noticed?

Five new screenshots from Eragon, an arial dragon combat game (due November 14) that seems likes it's been swallowed by the Gears of War hype machine, despite being based on a best-selling novel and upcoming Hollywood extravaganza. You might think that's because the game is movie tie-in crap, but it got some good looks E3. Are there any fans of the book out there who are genuinely looking forward to this one?

You know it's a movie tie-in game, right? Pretty graphics can't save it.

Every time I see the graphics, I think the game looks like shit. Sorry, but they look Xbox/PS2 gen graphics.

Perhaps I'll eat my words, but based on the trailer that was released at X06. I don't think it was buried in the GoW hype machine... ExTester is right the graphics looks solidly last gen, and I'm willing to be there's some uninspired gameplay to go with those sub-par graphics.

wow. it's sad that the hype for all these nov 7th games havecompletely overshadowed samller titles. ive only heard of eragon like twice but knew nothing of it, i assumed it was coming out a year from now or something.

I heard that it has drop in/out co-op, I loved the book, so I am planning to get it, maybe for the Wii if it comes out on that, if not ill get the 360 version. Yes, the graphics are crap.
