The gaming industry needs more people like Jenkins. MIT is (arguably)the worlds hardest university and to have somebody like him represent gaming, shows a step in the right direction for gaming as a culturaly accepted media.

I hadn't heard of "Revolution" before, it sounds quite interesting! I've thought for awhile now that a good game could be made from the player being a British citizen who kills his friends, family, neighbors, and local government officials for being loyal to their king. All the education I got when I was in school made it sound like Americans were always Americans, it completely failed to get across the idea that the revolution was like any revolution that might happen today or in the future and it involved people putting their foot down and using violence to draw a line. Will the game start with the first fight of the revolutionary war where the British tried to come confiscate cannons whose only likely use was killing the British military? Really, such a game could get a lot of kids thinking seriously about the state of the world today.

That's exactly what we need! There are alot of cool games out there that blows our minds but not challenge it. We need more educational games that are cool enough to really enjoy. It's also a good way to strenghten our childrens' minds and give them thirst for intellectual challenge. And something that the whole family will participate in.
