Sharp-eyed 360 Fanboy reader, Gregg Smith, noticed something after this morning's fall update. If you list your Xbox Live Arcade games by category, there is a section for Vision Camera enabled games. In that category, Texas Hold 'em -- or as I call it, Texas Hold Them -- is listed as Vision enabled. Granted, I don't play Hold 'em very much, so I fired it up just to be sure. Lo and behold, there is no Vision support. Does this mean that Hold 'em will have an upgrade in the near future, or did someone at 360 HQ make a mistake?
Texas Hold 'em to get Vision upgrade?

Some people have said that the back of the vision camera box (the more expensive version with 12 month card) has Texas Hold 'Em with vision support.
I suspect it's a case of when not if.

I have that box ("12-Month Xbox Live Vision Gold Pack", props to stootsi) in my hands as I type... figuratively, anyway. I don't see any mention of Texas Hold 'Em apart from the face-mapping example inside the front cover (which is from WSoP, not the Arcade title). I agree that it will probably happen, but the box I have doesn't show it. Maybe I got an old box or something.

Contra666: That screen of Texas Hold'em is on the back of the box for the cheaper Vision package--the one with just the camera and headset. I've suspected that Texas Hold'em would eventually support the camera, but because of WSOP, the support must've been delayed or pushed back so as not to cannibalize sales of that game. Sucks if you ask me, but then again, I did get Texas Hold'em free.

I have the cheaper version, but as it's European I think they removed the image (because they realised the game wasn't camera enabled at release).

I doubt this is a mistake. I heard months ago that this game was going to get an update to allow the vision support. I am pretty sure that the delay from the camera launch and the update to the game was deliberate, in order to not steal sales from the WSOP game which retails for 10 times the price of the arcade version.
