They could have at least shown a decent level of difficulty. The way it was shown just looks boring. (Hopefully EBA will have a hard mode like Ouendan did.)

Picking this up when I go to EB to grab my pre-ordered copy of Guitar Hero 2.
Two music games in a single day?
Awesome.

One of the crew members of my video site covered some of this in "Elite Beat Agents vs. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!"

I can't believe they are actually selling it in the US. I wonder how it will do.

If only all of the songs in EBA were as good as the one in the commercial...

hmm...not sure if you mean the songs themselves or the sound quality. if you mean the actual songs, can't help you there. but if you're talking about the sound quality, just get stereo headphones. without headphones ds sound quality is just blah. but with them, the music/sound fx really come alive...
(not literally, of course, but you know what i mean :P)
yeah, your ears are missing out on a lot without ds + headphones

I picked this up at Costco yesterday. Headphones are definitly a must have for this game. I've played through the first 7 levels and at this point I have to say the Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! is definitly my favorite. But Elite beat Agents is still a good game and I'm hoping it will get better as I make my way through the other 3/4 of the game.

I have no idea how to play this game, but after watching this commercial -- I still have no idea. Sounds like it could be cool from all I've read about it, but I'm still confused. It's a rhythm game with a cool soundtrack. That's about all I know.

1: I assume there will be levels of difficulty as Ouendan featured 4 difficulties.

I just keep explaining this game as Dance Dance Revolution with a stylus. I downloaded the demo from Target and its a blast.

yeah i first saw this commercial a few days ago and i said "woah, holy shit. this game looks pretty cool actually. granted, what the hell is it???"

i think marketing did a good job on this one. it sure captured my attention and made me curious. i have heard the name before on this site but i never really paid any attention. now i'm affixed on this game.

My co-worker's daughter imported the Japanese version and they both love it. I didn't understand it though but there is a lot of hype for it.
