Got cash? Bling that portable system [update 1]

The holidays are coming and it's time, once again, to try and get that non-gaming significant other to drink the Kool-Aid. Stuck on how to get the lady in your life, or that Liberace fanboy friend, hooked for the holidays? Well, the PSP and DS phat both come in blinged out crystal versions to ease those into gaming that find the units too masculine -- or just plain ugly. But the crystal units won't come cheap, it costs money to make someone look and feel fabulous gaming.

The Nintendo World store in NYC currently sells a $499 DS phat by NYC Peach. There are many different styles available, and if you've got the money to burn, you can get her a different style for every day of the week. Who needs to pay rent? You have to keep the lady happy!

We also have German mail order store OTTO selling Swarovski crystal PSPs. PS Pro magazine says that two versions will be offered, both with 2000 crystals each. The Passion of Flowers is for your girly-girl, and The Black Cobra is for the sophisticated lady. The cost is a mere 899€ ($1143 USD), but isn't she worth it?
