It's official, the people at Stootsi.com are nuts about the Xbox 360. We've covered them selling wireless controls and Live headsets, and the Live Vision Gold bundle in the past. Now they're doing it again. The Live Vision Camera deal apparently sold so fast that Stootsi decided to offer it a second time for all the people who missed out. I don't really have a use for the camera, but it's better than $50 for Gold alone.

i missed it last week right before my live account was up for renewal... better late than never.

I wish we could get that deal here. I almost bought the camera yesterday... but it is $57 (CDN) with tax here, and all we get is the camera, one month of live and Uno.

So...does this subscription gets tacked on to what we already have?

Yes, your account will have 12 months added to it. The only thing this doesn't work with is the 2 month cards that came with games back in the day. I dont think they do that anymore though.

I picked one up. My live account expires the 16th so perfect timing.

So I can use the redeem instead of paying for another year and it won't charge my card at all for the next year? Or does it still charge me and I just get two years?

And yes, you can use the 1 year gold card to add to your current accout. When I got the 360 I got it as a bundle, with a 1 year gold card, which I applied to my then current subscription.

can't get my debit card to work with it...

It didn't work for me at first too, make sure that you're using the correct address for the card, the one you gave the bank for the card. Then you can have a different shipping address if you want. It didn't work at first for me but that's the mistake I made. This is way too good to resist, I know everyone is saying it but it's so insanely true if you need/want a 1 year Live subscription.....it's really awesome.

Great deal! I bought one in the last batch, and entered coupon codes (five cards full) till my fingers bled... now my Gold account's good 'till 2008 and I've got a shiny new camera and enough games to keep me occupied until GoW comes out :P

I just ordered it. I've never heard of Stootsi before so was a little leery of doing it but others said they ordered before so it sounds on the up and up.
