Blizzard launches Warcraft encyclopedia

If you've ever wondered about the true meaning of immortality, or have the compelling urge to brush up on your Darnassian, Blizzard has a new resource for you. The Warcraft Encyclopedia is now available to provide comprehensive details on the story and lore of the Warcraft universe. As of right now, only the elven races of Azeroth are featured, but Blizzard is planning frequent updates to the online compendium. Whether or not this project is intended to supplement or compete with the useful WoW Wiki is unknown, but fans can expect some unique content to go along with the Encyclopedia's fancier window dressing.

this is a work in progress and once its a complete one im sure it will be extremely helpful. blizzard makes the lore, so i have a feeling theyll end up adding new info with each update.

Hey Kirkburn, there's nothing wrong with the link. It isn't wowwiki, it's worldofwarcraft.wiki.
Learn how to read, goof.

Kirkburn is correct, the site linked is not wowwiki as most people know it (http://www.wowwiki.com/). It is in fact world of warcraft wiki (http://worldofwarcraft.wikia.com/).

Looking at the wiki, linked in the post, there are around 60 articles, and is labeled "World of Warcraft wiki".
Looking at the wiki, linked in the comments, I see several thousands articles, and it's labeled "WoW Wiki".
To me it seems rather clear that the post is linking to the wrong wiki, and the correct link is the one mentioned in the comments, since it's referenced with the wrong name otherwise. Also the fact, that the wiki mentioned in the comments, contains over 100 times more articles should be a good indicator.

You're both right and you're both wrong. They're both WoW wikis, so there's no problem. Go wherever you want for WoW info, although I prefer to go right to the horse's mouth. In time, Blizzard's site may be the best.
