and for the record I do hope GOW is fabulous myself because if it aint then MS will lose alot of credability in the marketing of future games (such as Halo 3 )

Anyone seen the commercial for GOW with Marcus whats his name shooting at a 'black monolith' hovering in the sky ?

He keeps on shooting and shooting and then gets his buddies to shoot too but its all in vain because this black monolith is coated in kevlar. So anyways the bullets start ricocheting and one by one marcus and his buddies start falling down.

Then it zooms in on his dead face and you can see the excrement oozing out of his head.

Cool.

Best game at e3 means shit. it wasnt a finished build and besides people played only the 'good'parts.

My xbox broke this weekend, i bought a new one today, just for gears on tuesday, even though microsoft is fixing mine for free. I can't wait two weeks for gears of war

Having a game as best of E3 means nothing. Come on, PSP was the best of show in E3 2004. Of course the PSP is the greatest thing ever made now right?? Wrong. And previews ALSO mean NOTHING. Someone could preview a game at 10/10 but the review could be half that. Doesn't matter what people are saying.

GUITAR HERO 2 I CAN NOW DIE IN PEACE

Playing it safe with Guitar Hero II and Elite Beat Agents. Gears of War doesn't look that appealing.

I took my money out for a wild romp last night, seeing as how the rest of the month, I probably won't have a single penny.

Gears of War will probably be all consuming for the next while. I also plan on getting Viva Pinata and Call of Duty 3.

Then The Wii the end of next week.

Best fall lineup since 2004.

Last night I preordered in full Gears of War (Two close sources say it a. is the best experience he has had and b. it will live up to what is expected....) Rainbow Six Vegas... Demo awesome... Viva Pinata... (Girlfriend) and Call of Duty 3... And I will be camping out for a Wii....... Sony isn't doing it for me this time around...

Is Daver the new azn_1080p/Darrell? I was so happy that they weren't posting near as much.

Gears reviews should hit tomorrow. I would expect them to be pretty amazing based on the buzz I have been hearing.

Wait. History Channel Civil War was the hyped game here I thought. What is all this fighting over GOW about? How about some blue v gray action around here! (I am betting the North wins myself.)

oh man....I feel sorry for "History Channel: Civil War". Thats some rough competition.
I mean, cmon, they could have at least made the name really confusing so maybe a few people would get it confused with Gears of War. Like "History Channel: Bears of War"...sure it doesnt make any sense, but hey, use a silly font for the B, make it look kind of G-ish and maybe some confused mothers out to be RIDICULOUSLY violent games for their 10-year-olds would make the mistake.

On another note, it will be nice to see what comes of the GIANT FLAMING BALL OF HYPE that is Gears of War. Lets see some reviews.

I think I'm getting 'The Sopranos' for my PS2. As for my gameboy, I'm sticking with Final Fantasy. Something more familiar for that one. I'm getting nostalgic these days though. I think about Mario 3 all the time. I'm talking about the one where Mario can fly with the help of a feather, in case anyone here doesn't know.
