Grand Theft Mario, care of Robot Chicken

If you missed last night's Robot Chicken, then you missed Mario and Luigi's stroll through Vice City where they rang up six stars through carjacking, animal cruelty, drug usage, and assaulting an officer. The world of Mario is always a matter of perspective.

Really bugs me that the songs were so close, but so off. Shoulda just asked for the rights to use the songs if they're using their likenesses and their names. Yeesh.

Overall though, great parody. Nicely done.

Was excellent. Though I was hoping the (mu)shroom would make Mario super-sized.

At #3: While Robot Chicken is allowed to parody the Bros legally without permission (same as everything else in their show), using the song would just have been ripping it off. They knew better and made the song kinda like it to avoid legal trouble.

Five stars are shown, but in GTA you receive a sixth star when the military shows up. As it does in the video.

Otherwise, that was pretty good. I missed Robot Chicken last night because of my stupid midterm today, but oh well, I go to see this scene at least.

lordroba, you can download any youtube video using firefox and the videodownloader extension. it will be in flv (flash video) format so you will need a converter (try riva flv encoder). otherwise, you may try torrenting the whole episode.

I dunno, I kinda thought it was retarded. Not one of RC's better moments (which, to me, was their Diary of Anne Frank starring Hillary Duff skit). It didn't seem to take much advantage of the Vice City setting, except it gave them an excuse to make Mario and Luigi act extra stupid.
