@ Mr. Khan:

You're right, I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but $250 doesn't make for an impulse buy, or a buy based on 20 minutes of playtime at my local Gamestop. Also, I believe that GoW's movies use the in-game engine, so my image isn't Killzone 2 trailer stuff. (Correct me if I'm wrong).

iEnigma, your comparing a second generation xbox 360 game with what is essentially a game cube game.

quote from george harrison re TP Wii version:
"On the downside, the game“s graphics have not been improved above and beyond the original GameCube version."

http://www.gamepro.com/news.cfm?article_id=85328

How about a comparison between the Call of Duty 3 versions? That would be good to see.

"35. Umm.. people would play ZTP for that long using the GC controllers if given the chance."

Perhaps I'm not understanding you correctly, but it sounds like you're saying the people who got to play Twilight Princess would rather have played with a Gamecube controller if they could. The reviews say otherwise:

PlanetGamecube: "I've played the game long enough to come to the conclusion that I don't want to use a traditional controller to play Twilight Princess."

GoNintendo: "I seriously cannot see myself playing the Cube version and enjoying it nearly as much."

IGN: "If you have the means to buy Twilight Princess for Wii and you still get it for GameCube, you are a fool."

No, it's true. They need an ID. They haven't unwrapped the one in mine yet and there's a notice from Gamestop right on the box that says "a game stop representative will be 'deployed' to activate with a key card". They're serious. http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/4083/gamestopxe6.jpg

@iEnigma, actually, yes, I'd be fine with N64 graphics in 2006. Ocarina of Time was the last time graphics really "impressed" me. Sure, graphics have gotten better, and I have an SLI rig for my pc. Graphics are getting better and better, but they haven't really reached the next level from the n64 days. Until graphics make another leap, n64 graphics are still good enough.

Of course, that's my personal opinion, YMMV.

Doesn't this game come with a wheel, or is that only Ubisoft games?

Nintendo = Nostalgia. Wii-mote = powerglove + laserscope. Nintendo systems are great for kids but as many of us originally NES gamers matured we turned to more mature systems. I used to love the NES characters but now I relate more to Master Chief than to Mario and Link. P.S. Nintendophiles, no matter what kind of shading you use, Link will never be edgy. He's a keebler elf.

to #42:

You can't compare the graphics of TP to Gears of War (which btw, that is NOT an in-game screen shot, because the blood on the monster in the background is clearly from concept art.) because TP is a game with 'Cube graphics. They didn't change the graphics from TP on the 'Cube to TP on the Wii.

However, I'm surprised myself in saying that TP and Gears of War, well, there is a decent gap in graphics, but not one that's good enough for me to say it's worth another generation of the same old controls. Wii games can look pretty damn good at times and that's good enough for me with the kick ass controller to back up what's not there visually.

I am sick and tired of u jackazzez talking about Wii"s graphics. The damn graphics are ok. The Gamcube graphics & Wii graphics are like day and night. You all just wining because Nintendo did not make Wii HD compactable. Every American household do not have HDTV dumbazzez. I'm buying a Wii. Also buying Dragon Ball Z,Bleach,Zelda,Truck,Metal Slug Anthology,Red Steel,Ray Man.

You may want to check your PIP settings. My 61" Samsung specifically says that anything connected and displayed in a PIP window will NOT be displayed in HD, i e, displayed in SD.
