D-town,

The reason Super Mario World, Link To The Past, and Super Mario Bros wouldn't be on that list probably has nothing to do with them not being released here. They have all been rereleased on the GBA (or GBC in SMB's case). So the ESRB isn't going to have to rerate them, being that they have all gotten ratings in the last four years. So don't get worried just yet.

Well, I'm not really worried about any ESRB rating, it's just that these are 8 more or less confirmed titles. Nintendo only releases 10 a month, so that's two slots left for January. Unless, of course, these games will be distributed over a longer period, which I hope. But when does Nintendo (bless their everloving pockets -erm, hearts) not surprise? :-)

Haha, I was just playing Kirby's Adventure two nights ago. It came out in 1993, long after the SNES had launched, so it's not nearly as well-known as it should be. It's supposed to be a game for both non-gamers and gamers (hm... Nintendo's DS and Wii strategy isn't so new, huh?), by being really easy to beat, and ridiculously difficult to 100%.

I have a feeling Duck Hunt won't use the sensor bar. I mean, the zapper didn't need one. To be honest, I still don't know how the zapper worked, but it worked just fine 25 years ago. Something tells me the Wii remote was designed to make use of Nintendo's retro line, including the shooting ones.

Ok, am I the only one who has to wait forever for a confirmation email?
