It's possible that it will make it by the end of the year. In the interview with Greg Canessa in Major Nelsons latest podcast, he says that thats not the solid list and there could be more titles by the end of the year. So, it's totally possible.

This is exciting news though. The 2D Worms were awesome, and the 3D ones were just...bleh. It's nice to see they are going back to how it should be played.

Let's hope it's more like Armageddon or World Party and less like the version that came out for the DS and PsP. For as versatile and light-on-resources as Worms is, the fact that they insisted on truncating the game (four worm teams, very limited weaponry) for the portable versions was a massive letdown.

If it is anything like LieroX, it will be well worth the buy.

WOW. I'd buy a 360 if worms was on LIVE. Well maybe not but it would top GOW and UNO as my top picks of want to play on 360.

For anyone wanting to comment about that I have played a lot of games on a friends 360, but just really don't see a need for it yet.

Microsoft could release more than one game a week. They certainly have enough quequed. On one of Major Nelson's previous podcasts he mentioned something about the floodgates could be opened at some point at we could see multiple releases.

Wasn't there already a game called Lemmings 2? Wouldn't this be Lemmings 3? Also, so I can say it before someone else does, sigh: Worms on Live FTW!

Thank you Lord! I was just wishing for this yesterday!
Now it's time for the world to remember how much I dominate 2d Worms online.

So happy!

Ah the memories!

8 of us in a Student house had a leaderboard on PS1 all with customised teams (Mine was Oasis Liam, Noel, Guigsy and Bonehead!). It was the only game the girls and boys played, I think one of us racked up over 1000 games.

Day one for me and hopefully all my old roomies will buy 360's so we can play like old times!

BTW Please be the original 2d non cartoony game!!!!!

It's a shame the maker of SCORCHED EARTH never gets any credit for the bazillion Worms games.

This is a must-have. I'm there. I'm glad I have the 360, because so far the Arcade experience has not been disappointing.

ZeroCorpse thats the way it always goes. People improve on basic gameplay.

If this was the case Doom/Quake should always get credit for any online FPS game or Mario for platforming.(possibly poor examples but you get the point)

Sold... Man Microsoft is killing me on the arcade. I've only bought two (Geometry Wars and Marble Blast Ultra. But I'm not one to make casual purchases like that. Those, plus Hexic HD, have easily dominated play in the house recently. Girlfriends like the arcade games, which means we don't have to shut it all down when they come to ruin the party... I mean brighten our spirits.

Ok, now this F'ing rules. I love worms, at least the 2D version. The Saturn's is the best, so I hope it's close to that. Exploding sheep FTW.
