yeah ditto to the comment above... besides with all the news thats been coming out recently, it seems as if they are much further along the development schedule than i think a lot of people think. All the stuff that has been coming out seems like they are ramping up for a sooner release date. although it could just be because they want to fuck with the ps3/wii launch..... but we can hope

Honestly I only ever bought games that I thought were the Best Games to have and suddenly, for the first time, I simply don’t have enough money!!!! And that’s good news! (painful, but good:D)

Frankie also mentioned the possibility of having a female voice set in multiplayer; and is asking all the females to post in the forums or PM him for their opinions.

My guess of the big news is some screenshots/videos, and MAYBE a demo of some sort and a definitive release date.

I'd rather them not waste time on a demo. Remember what happened with Halo 2? They worked for months on the Halo 2 demo at E3, and...well it didn't live up to that demo because they had to rush the game.

I'd like to see some gameplay videos, though. I want to see how it plays and looks.

Let Halo 3 come out next summer or slightly later, I have enough to play now.

What if:

Halo 3 is coming out this year?

All the delayed games are due to companies not wanting to compete with GoW and Halo 3?

MS has kept H3 launching a secret to not detract from GoW?

I hope its a release date, or a demo release announcement (January 17th would be amazing for the game, Nov. 17th [yes, 11/17, not 117] would be a great demo day.)

Or even a demo on Jan. 17th, and the game sometime in Spring/Summer.
That would be amazing.

i know what it is its the 30 secound video of single player that 1up/egm saw. that they said was amazing and they said gears of what? with good graphics compared to what we have seen

but yeah I want the game to be better looking than gears of war (if thats possible)

Kick them when they are down. Sony has had nothing but bad news lately. From battery recalls, to delays in PS3, to reduced numbers of PS3s, to reduced numbers from the reduced numbers of PS3s to delayed games.

Meanwhile Microsoft has been rolling in good news, with a strong stable of games, the recent release of the blockbuster Gears, and lots of new games in the pipeline.

Microsoft should kick Sony now that they are down. Steal all the thunder this week with a big announcement. Halo 3 would be *really* cool, but even re-releases of Halo 1 and 2, recompiled and slightly updated for the 360 would be cool too.

Come on Microsoft, lets see you curb stomp Sony!

Yeah, as unlikely as that is, I would love to see a rerelease of Halo 1 with updated graphics and Live play. Leaving everything else exactly the same though.
