Gears of War -- single-player cross-stitching action

One of our readers has the coolest grandmother ever. She cross stitched the Gears of War logo for him, and just look how nice it is all framed and ready to go next to the family photos in the hallway. Our grandmother would never have stitched this for us ... even if we'd begged her. The closest we could probably get would be a quilted gingham checkerboard.
Now what we really want to know is: does your grandma play the game? Have her hit us up in multiplayer and show us if those skills with a needle translate to a chainsaw.
[Thanks, Alex -- and thank granny for us too]

Actuallty, I do too...do you think Alex's grandma could make them as a sideline business? Now at night people can cry themselves to sleep on their huge GoW pillows.

How about, Gears of Thread?

Gears of War seems to have brought about the 3 red lights on my 360. After a game of multiplayer this morning, EVERY game/demo (with the exception of pac-man) causes the 360 to freeze. The unit has been shipped back to Microsoft. I have read about a few others on the IGN boards having the same issue.

Andrew,
your issue isn't so much with gears as it is an issue with one of the cores in your 360, when one of them decides it's time to go, all you need is a processer hungry game to make it permanently crash and it will pretty much have issues until you get it fixed. At the end of it's days, mine wouldn't even make it past the opening load screen or make play any sound, and
it but the dust in august by saints row and dead rising. But it was a launch console, and luckily MS extended those warrenties.
