It was pretty much inevitable, but some of the Best Buy launch numbers have been leaked. Josh Holloway, former Best Buy employee and all around nice guy, has unleashed a partial list of "100% accurate" PS3 inventory numbers. We'll take Josh at his word on this one.
Sure, the information only covers part of the Southeastern US, but the numbers are so consistent, that it's a good bet that these are the numbers we'll be seeing nationwide. It all boils down to this... it appears that each Best Buy store will receive about 30 PS3s on launch day (20 60gigers and 10 20gigers). A few of the larger stores will get a few extra. These numbers seem a bit on the low-side and will certainly lead to some shopper disappointment on November 17.
