NPR reported on next-generation consoles this morning specifically comparing the Wii and PS3. The report highlights how Sony is betting the farm and revival of its fortunes on the PS3 after losing the portable audio market to Apple, flat HDTV sales, and having its PSP "trounced by the Nintendo DS during the last round of format wars" despite its owning the last 10 years of the home console market.
The funniest part of the report, however, is when some Sony rep is highlighting sweat on an in-game character to reporter Laura Sydell. Her indifference to the graphical achievement is hilarious: "Yeah, uh huh, right." Not that there is anything wrong with detailed sweat in graphics, just funny hearing a journalist not giving a hoot.
