Who cares about japan. All they want is those crappy RPG games where little 5 year old girls are yelling at the top of there throat! So who cares about them. Just pull out of japan. Let them have there ps3 and let us have our XBOX.

I serously doubt this game is going to be bigger than Zelda or MGS, two series very widely known and popular in Japan, but I know it will defently get some publistity and attention from the Japanese, especally since three almost-celebery (in Japan) people are working on it. People such as Hironobu Sakaguchi (obviously the person who created FF and worked on it untill he left SquareEnix to create MistWalker), Akira Toriyama (guy who did the art design for DBZ and Dragon Quest), and Nobuo Uematsu (very famous in Japan composer that did all the FF musical scores, and will do them for MistWalker, and will make some music for Smash Bros. Brawl as well) (NOTE: Source of information: Wikipedia, I am not a fan of JRPGs, infact I hate them like no tomorrow, but I know the Japanese love these style of games...).

So they might do what Square helped do with the PS1 in Japan (originally the Saturn was allot more popular than PS1 in the beginning in Japan) with the Xbox 360, rise its popularity in Japan. Don't know if it will be enough to rise the Xbox 360 from the dumps there but it will decently move some platforms there.
